- Yes carpers we are back for our 3rd and final venue.
WE are at the iconic Orchid lakes in the heart of oxfordshire which the home of the 30s, this venue has always been on my radar but unfortunatly due to marshs passing it was closed for a long while.
We are fishing here with my good friend Tony who you may remember from Todber Manor and jimmys farm.
WE have managed to secure 1 of the huts being L shape.

I’ve always found you need the low pressure , overcast weather to turn them on at Orchid.

They are the dreaded Tufties; Tufted Ducks…. The black and white ones are Male and the female is the brown one 👍🏻 pain in the arse, they’ll dive down on your bait if they can reach the bottom lol

@@JediCarper your welcome Jed; am into my wildlife photography, it helps lol… actually got a decent shot of a common tail walking a week ago at 100 yards 👌🏻 btw great 3 parts, loved the tour, have fished oak, willow and long at Coking but yet to do the other two venues…. Too stuff 👍🏻
I'm hoping to do another tour next year but 2 different venues I've never fished
