Interested in hearing your thoughts on the S2400 compared to your SP12. Also, any specific reason you're playing in double time? Just preference? On my S2400 I tend to just run normal tempo and then quantize to 1/16 and swing around 63-67 % to get that SP feel, instead of working in double time. Should be the same on paper, unless I'm mistaken?
I love both machines and usually use them very differently. With only 5 seconds of sampling time the sp 12 is much more limited. When working on the sp my beats are very simple because of that. But I feel the limitations give my beats more justification if that makes sense? Everything is much easier on the s2400, and it can do much more than the sp 12. So in that way they are very different. But with the same blueprint in a way. I never save on the 12 but track out directly into ableton when the beat is done. And work with a rack sampler like emax1 or s950 like the beat in the link. ua-cam.com/users/shortsNH1Pqo4RBE0?si=aKSO5SM19d3UbwHW
@@Boef1 Interesting, thanks for your thoughts! It's my dream to own one of the SPs, but I """settled""" with the S2400 because I can't justify the price of the OG's. Maybe if I win the lottery one day😅
Thanks for watching, the beat is soon up on my patreon www.patreon.com/posts/boef1-i-just-you-117286148?Link&

That sounds beefy, thanks for sharing!
You are very welcome, glad you dig it!

The double time is just an experiment to see if doses anything, I don’t have an answer on that yet 😊
