You're in for a treat! I discovered Mike via Ayreon when he was featured on The Theory of Everything, and when I checked out Toehider I was completely blown away: there's no wonder why Arjen refers to Mike as "my musical hero"... he really is!

Since I'm here, a little frog found his way into my kitchen this morning. Likely had a friend come along too, but I didn't spot him. I helped them back outside, as I didn't have any muffins in the fridge. I hope they find what they are looking for...

I've always wondered with this song's lyrical style, the extended categorical but never really specific description, is it trying to evoke dissociation/depersonalization/derealization? that sorta floaty out of body looking down on yourself going through the motions depression? sure reminds me of my own metacognition/internal narrative during those mood phases.
