I've got another 2 weeks. Of course, as usual the videos from the road will mostly be snippets until I get back to my winter digs. I think I have 101 days out this time.
Robert, I've got a couple of those made up for the awning and tarp poles. Small one for my "raccoon secure" garbage container although the raccoons thought it was great to play with one of the nights at Black Donald. I was thinking that tube would be a good thing there.
....I chuckled when you were laying down....I was also thinking...getting down isn't the hard part!!😂...thanks for sharing...stay safe out there!!😎👍🤙👍🤙🇨🇦
Sorry to hear it was a difficult winter. Mine just really seemed long. Partially because I worked too much of it. I'm ready to change the pace with travel and camping.
I've got the same tool box on my big trailer. nice box but it isn't water proof, it comes through at the hinge. drill a couple drain holes to ensure you don't end up with surprise tongue weight going down the road.
The hitch is much beefier on the Goldwing. The extra tongue weight of a spare shouldn't be a problem. I really like the air shims. They are going to save my back this summer.
Amazon. There are a couple of trailer tongue storage boxes available that are similar. www.amazon.ca/dp/B001OCTKEA?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details
Good job, Jim can't wait to see you on the road.

Put a tool tube in that space made from a 4” sanitary ABS pipe. Easy to make, economical and screw clamp it to the tongue.

I built 2 for under my leisurelite. I also welded a piece of square tubing onto my tire wrench so I could tighten/loosen the end.
Looking forward to your travel with the open road ahead there is always preparation. Fun.side. 😊

Hi Jim it was nice to see the Mini Mate coming back to normal. I like that storage box.
It's great for all the odds and ends I have as well as my outside table, the Little buddy Heater, hatchet, saw, etc.
Nice job, looks like you are getting ready to hit the road. Enjoyed the video and RIDE SAFE OUT THERE!
Getting ready. Another 2 weeks at this point.
Great video man. Nice to see you at it again.
I haven't had time to edit lately... work and trip prep but don't worry, lots of me still to come.
Nothing like planning for a trip. I have two in mind and just yesterday got one of them cleared. Off to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan shortly!
Excellent. Have only done part of the peninsula. Will try to get back there.
Your Mini Mate... takes a beating, keeps on ticking... (my apologies to Timex)... 😁👍👍
I think their's was "takes a licking and keeps on ticking". Mine could be "take fruckin and keeps on truckin". That fibreglass tub is awesome.
Glad to see some preperation for the upcoming season Jim.......
Been at it bit by bit. Almost ready.
I've got the same tool box on my big trailer. nice box but it isn't water proof, it comes through at the hinge. drill a couple drain holes to ensure you don't end up with surprise tongue weight going down the road.
I'll do that.
Nice job. Are you on the road? Getting some rain here in Fredericton next couple days. Ride safe
@@lloydmoore3344 Cape Breton right now. Will be in rain the next couple of days. F'ton might be more of a pass thru than real stop.
A spare tire should be a must. One flat tire and a tow more than makes up for the extra weight. And what to you think about the AIr Shims?

was there a video of the accident....curious to see the ST latest condition....at least the mini was salvageable.
I'm editing a video talking about the accident. The ST went to salvage.
When will you come to travel to Thailand? Have been followtng since the first clip.
I would love to go to Thailand. I think the next few years will still all be in North America. Thanks for coming along.
@@OldGuyonaBike You inspired me to travel all over THAILAND.
