Setting up my Mini Mate, Pop-up Tent Trailer Motorcycle Camping - Glamping - 2023 Ep 21

After 3 nights in one spot at Barachois Pond Provincial Park, Newfoundland, I'm moving down to the other end for a week. This gave me the opportunity to video setting up my 20 year old Kompact Kamp Mini Mate pop-up tent trailer. Hauling a tent trailer is glamping on wheels. It really can up your game when motorcycle camping. If you are traveling with the minimal amount of equipment, you could get this tent trailer set up within 5 min. I carry a lot of stuff. I have the awning and an after market add-a-room. There is a collapsable shelving unit to put my kitchen and pots/pans totes on along with my pantry tote and electronics tote. Totes that I empty go under the lid of the trailer. The add-a-room gives me the space to hang up gear and store my boots outside of the trailer itself which makes the trailer space much more workable. I do get to carry a two burner propane stove with a very economical and refillable 5 lb. propane tank.The trailer gives me the opportunity to travel with a fairly large cooler making it easier to cook at campsites which is certainly cheaper and usually healthier than going to restaurants and fast food outlets. The tent trailer is not for everyone, but it is enhancing my retirement travel.
