She triggered my ptsd of working for customer service. Same damn thing- get paid little to just get yelled at all day for other people’s mistakes. My black friend who I worked next to said “ if you’re any kind of man you’ll quit. They hassling you because you try to help give people reservices if they really need them. I don’t even try to stick to the script and give people whatever they want - and they won’t say anything to me because I’m a black woman. They need me for their quota” So I quit and my friend was really upset because the other employees were trying to get careers in that company so they were oddly cutthroat.

I actually really enjoyed event staffing concerts and comedy shows until a supervisor tried sexually assaulting me. I enjoyed the bar job, too, until i watched a coworker who I knew was being abused die and come back to life. Long, true story..
