In 1996 I was seven years old, my parents brought me to KL for the 1st time, we return back to hometown by train at this station, such beautiful memories.
I was born in 1990, my grandma take me to village from kl station to taiping using double bed train, that was amazing experience when my childhood hv use this train, but now they hv no longer use this train anymore 😔

@@kamepo later it was known as Ekspres Peninsular and were later extended down to JB Sentral. The train remained in service up until April 2016 in which it is finally discontinued. Nowadays commuters would have to board Southern Express to Gemas from JB, ETS from Gemas to Padang Besar and SRT International Express 45/46 from Padang Besar to Hat Yai and Bangkok.

Now it is around 3 hour from kuala lumpur to Taiping by train
Still can experience it but only JB - Gemas - Tumpat vice versa.

Ya, no more Tanjung Pagar station. Only Woodlands, and its only goes to JB, not anymore directly to KL or East-coast. Really sad indeed

こんにちは。私は今から26年前の1994年に初めてKLとペナンを訪れました。当時は空港が昔のスバン空港でした。列車もディーゼル機関車と客車ばかりでした。自動車も自国産プロトン・サガとかB310日産・サニーとか430.Y30セドリックがありましたが、今なら新車のプロトンとか現地生産の日本車が豊富だそうですね。当時は色々あって「ここには2度と訪れるか！」と思いましたが、あれから電車とかLRTとかペトロナス・ツインタワーが完成したり。あれから26年、マレーシアは頑張ったんだと思いました。私は長らくロサンゼルスへ旅行していましたから。今はクアラルンプール空港がセパン空港という新空港が完成してこんなにきれいになって想像していませんでしたね。
スバンはタクシー利用だと近くて良かったのですが、独特な匂いのする古臭い空港でしたね。マレーシアの、特にＫＬの２０年、３０年は、ほんとに劇的な変化です。私もずいぶん長いことＫＬを訪ねていないので、まずは路線図から勉強しないと今の交通機関を乗りこなせないと思います。

Ya, probably you are right. I checked the timetable at the time. There was no such an express train to east coast, that including a sleeper.
