DE BEER: GNU - The End Game
Вставка
- Опубліковано 5 вер 2024
- With South Africa at “boiling point” and running gun battles on the Cape Flats, negotiations for the country’s new Government of National Unity (GNU) took some dramatic turns this week as more parties (including the EFF and BOSA) entered into coalition talks with the ruling African National Congress (ANC) while the Democratic Alliance (DA) teetered on the brink of going back to the opposition benches. In this interview with BizNews, United Independent Movement (UIM) President Neil de Beer speaks about the DA’s fight for the economic cluster and the portfolios that are critical to the movement of the basic economy, lifestyle, and stability of the country. He describes President Cyril Ramaphosa re-emerging as the “the Cyril of the CODESA negotiations…and putting down his iron rod”. De Beer also dissects the East-West factions inside the GNU and warns of a looming foreign policy battle. Meanwhile, he reminds the current president that there are factions inside the ANC, the government, the police, the army, and the intelligence services that remain loyal to former President Jacob Zuma.

Because we have millions of idiots who vote for criminals who now occupy more than 25% of parliament.

NEIL YOUR SERVICES IN THE JUSTICE SYSTEM OR POLICING IS URGENTLY REQUIRED
Pres. Neil de Beer 🎉 the real man for government 🎉
I agree, No human rights for criminals.
Think a second about
How would you categorize a criminal
A Thief from a shop to feed himself
A person who defends themselves and kills a person
A person who illegally dumps some grass
A person who dumps toxic waste
A person who kills people for a living
A person who committed fraud
A person who is accused of grape but did not do it
I can go on, where do we draw the line between a criminal and criminal.
If you give the government the power to say criminals do not get human rights
What's to stop them from saying a police officer is a criminal for killing a person in self-defense?
What about minor crimes
What about people who get unjustly accused of something they did not do
Human rights has flaws, but they have a stated purpose that purpose is to keep people from being unjustly treated by the government and economic powers
When you give a blank statement like that, you wipe out the game and say anyone who is accused of something should be treated unfairly, you give the goverment the power to brand anyone as a criminal and give them free rain on how they treat that criminal.
Things are so great for criminals in South Africa they even get to vote while in prison.. 😏
every body deserves human rights, ones activities should not trump the rights of others. Those that break the law need to be dealt with.
119Q❤🎉🎉🎉🎉@@grantcurrin4934
@@grantcurrin4934if you want to be treated like a human being, then you have to behave like a human being. When you commit any form of criminality, you forfeit your right to be classed as human.

There's nothing stopping you pulling up your socks and pitching in too. Time to pull finger and stop pointing finger.
@@michelmuller6023 We did. We had an election and, as Ramaphosa said, we spoke, like it or not. It's now up to the Politicians to show that they represent South Africa first and their party next, and do what we told them to do.
@@davidtuer5825Unfortunately governments tell us what to do, because the current system (constitution) was deliberately written for a Party-system and not citizen-friendly. We need system change where WE THE PEOPLE become the government as it should be in a real democracy. Then we nominate and vote for COMPETENT candidates DIRECTLY so that WE CAN HOLD THEM ACCOUNTABLE. This will eliminate the need for Political Parties and a forced marriage like now will never happen.
@@SOLAR-cr5dp That sounds like a Communist system to me. When you talk about "We the People" you're talking about the "People" running Parliament (for as long as it continues to exist, that is"'). That means continuous Referendums, and who is to decide what we will decide on? Who will mobilize the people? Oh, a Political party! Perhaps a system where the People are split into areas and the people in each area vote for someone to look after their interests in Parliament, we could call those areas "constituencies". That might work, don't you think?
Looking forward to next Sunday, great show.

South Africa needs a Government of NATIONAL UNITY, PLEASE UNITE.

@@oodlesofnoodles4660 respecting each person's view point, considering each and agreeing on what would best bring health and happiness to the people of South Africa.
Painting everyone on the Cape Flats as victims of apartheid is not fair. There is plenty of hard working people who want to get out of poverty and do not play the victim card. I agree that full force be used and this law that is suited for crime needs to change
Very powerful message 👏
I think DA will close the borders and clean Johannesburg and fix north west port holes and stop corruption
Nah they'll just bring more immigrants and use them as cheap labor. They've never had a strong stance on immigration
The borders don't need closing. As long as South Africa inside is liveable, we are going to have undocumented foreign nationals in the country. You start by enforcing the law inside the country. It is illegal for South Africans to employ illegal immigrants as well as to give them shelter. Enforce that law, and you have dealt with more than half the problem.
Everything the ANC leads is weak and anemic. They unable to be courageous and powerful!

Love these sessions, disagree with you this time Neil, as a DA voter, I absolutely want this GNU, would I have preferred an IFP President, yes, but will take this for now. They have 5 years to make a difference, let’s give them a chance.
Neil, your contributions are addictive! Your strength combined with exceptional foresight and humour are sadly missing from the GNU parliament scenario.
Just brilliant. Talking REAL. Love this guy.
How I wish you where in Parliament!
I have been involved in so many commercial negotiations. The most fundamental of rules is to get clear written agreement on the fundamentals before giving away your bargaining power. The DA seems to have first given away its bargaining power, and then asked the ANC for the crumbs it is going to get. The best in the present circumstances is to take the crumbs and make the best of them.
As the Atlantic meet the Indian ocean at Cape Point, so is the East meets the West in South Africa. We will be entertaining both.

Voters will judge the parties based on their ministries successes in 2029!Each party will try to deliver!I was going to be happy if the following departments were given to these parties=Police DA; Homeaffairs PA;Defence DA;Transport DA;Agriculture DA;Health DA and Education DA!Infact ANC is useless in everything!
Neil I salute you for your dedicated advice Trusting that your inputs will be take seriously to heart🎉
I would volunteer for that Task Force for the Cape and for any further similar action.
I'm from Gauteng and feel that this is ridiculous. My father was a Police Officer and I remember the terrible times he and many of his colleagues went through during the terrible 70's and 80's. He hated Apartheid and we grew up very liberally but he believed that he could change things from inside.
He was older and he never took a firearm into these areas, he just used his old Bullwhip too imitate the sound of a gunshot. He cried for the innocent lives that were lost.
Blessings to ALL...

I WISH THIS WILL BE THE WAY THINGS WILL CONTINUE.

I have been following him since the start of covid he always spot on. I am 100%this is not going to work due to all about positions nothing to do with interest of the citizens. DA and anc including other parties have completely different policies. EFF and MK are patiently waiting for them in Parliament. More to come

People these days have fake compassion for criminals.
True compassion would be to forcibly stop them from doing things that destroy them and those around them.
Imagine how damaged and heartless you need to be to kill another person and feel nothing. Now imagine no one stopping you from doing it, no one arresting you.
Its the exact same as parents not disciplining their kids. Its the opposite of caring.
Sentences are not good enough, Jails have become boarding houses. Crime is severe, corruption is beyond measure, murders are increasing and governments do not do their part. I do think it is easy to work for government with high salaries. I think most of them are there for this reason. Not to build up South Africa. Our taxes are serving the Criminals.😢. South Africa is a laughing stock . And in Serious trouble. 😢
People are not laughing at us as much as they are laughing at the USA at this moment, and that's one thing at least.
True! 60 cents out of every Rand, is what is used to pay salaries only of employees of the state. This is an unsustainable situation.
