I mean...Eren and Reiner gonna fight again..another fight..ppl desperate for more action after JJK ended...the teaser connects everything from the first ep of AoT..the music, the imagery, what's being said...the Teaser is a brilliant cliffhanger.

If somebody who isn't Historia eats Zeke then they lose his royal blood and ability to transform titans, I thought that Levi was actually going to pay Historia a visit, but based on the direction in which he was going, he was probably headed for the port.

And Pieck doesn't believe in or trust Marley, but she does trust the people she's grown up with, her friends and comrades. And unlike Zeke, she isn't going to just abandon them. She's amazing too. As expected of Pieck, that's exactly right.
Yeah pieck doesn't trust marley but trust her friends who in the first place attack and kills their own people in paradis and still following marley's order. As eren said he hates people who are slaves and just following orders...

The quality of Eren's transformation and the use of 2D for the attack titan during this episode shows us that MAPPA can do amazing stuffs ! I personnally do not hate the use of 3D but clearly the 2D looks clean as hell ! Let's hope that the 8-9 months will be enough for MAPPA to come back to 2D more often for the last part :)

I'm right there with you, there is not a single important character I dislike.
That titan who helped my boy Zeke, was running with him in the forest but levi didn't kill her, Zeke grabbed her body and twisted it to throw some flesh on Levi, I think she regenerated and came to the rescue.
I just started reading the rest of the manga where this episode left of coz I can’t wait! Lol. And, I already read 12 chapters in just a span of a few hours. And I can tell you, this episode is nothing compared to the succeeding events which is expected to be in the Final Season Part 2! It hit me so hard more than I can realize.
Compared to other characters many might argue that levi is overrated. But to him alone, I don't really think the praises for him should be lowered down or something along those lines

I'm worried about how fractured Paradis' military is right now, I feel like normally they could repel an invasion of this size (if those blimps + the shifters are the whole of it) pretty easily but a bunch of them are locked up right now and inter-branch synergy is probably at its lowest point ever lol. Maybe Eren will just solo the whole raid. Anyway I'm glad I found your channel during this season, ty for the content. Looking forward to winter.

You know, now that we know Pieck’s motivation for becoming a Warrior and what she thinks of Marley, I’m curious as to what Galliard’s motivation is as well. We already know the motivations behind the others’ choices to become Warriors but I don’t think the anime ever really touched down on what Porco’s goal is or what motivated him to join the Warrior program. Pieck says she doesn’t truly believe in Marley, and the AOT wiki says she and Porco are close, so I wonder if he’s in the same boat. All we really know about him is that he’s related to Marcel and that’s about it. I hope we get some more insight on his character in part 2. I know most people don’t, but I personally like him so I’d like to know more about him.
I just assumed he's in close to the same boat as gabi. Admiring a relative who sacrificed to be a warrior cementing his views... Considering his stance during the time Reiner came back and how it should have been him.. and knowing what Marcel did... Didn't really need much else from me.

Since Marcel became a Warrior, Porco would have already become an Honorary Marleyan so there was no need for him to become a Warrior as well after Marcel died but he stepped up to the plate anyway. I can see him having the same amount of loyalty to Marley back then as Gabi. But I wonder if that’s any different now. Pieck opened up to Gabi about her lack of trust to the army as a whole. Zeke betrayed them all and Porco also looked up to him so I’m wondering if the recent events changed his current views on Marley. Did he also lose faith in Marley overtime as the recent events unfolded? Or is he still completely loyal? These are questions I’d like to see answers to someday

Though I don't think it was Reiner's loyalty to Marley that Porco was belittling, I think he was just belittling Reiner because he acted like his loyalty was the only thing he needed to become a Warrior rather than what he could actually do in a battle. That's why he was asking Reiner what other qualities he had, whether it be a clever mind, fighting ability, skill with guns, etc. Porco probably thought that Reiner was being pretentious or overconfident and took it as an insult to the amount of work that the others put into the program. And yeah, 2 candidates do have a better chance than 1. I'm not saying he shouldn't have entered the Warrior program at all, I agree that multiple members of the same family joining the program increases the chances of the family gaining the Honorary Marleyan status. I'm just saying that Porco and his immediate family already became Honorary Marleyans after the titan assignments because Marcel made the cut. If a Warrior dies, their family doesn't lose their Honorary Marleyan titles because Bertholdt's father still has his red armband shown in episode 4x5. And since Gabi called out Falco for trying to become a Warrior despite Colt having already been chosen, this shows that siblings are included. So even though Marcel died, Porco basically had no reason to step up to replace him because he and his family were already Honorary Marleyans at that point. I was thinking that, if he took the Jaw titan back anyway, he must have volunteered out of genuine loyalty to Marley. But then again, he was the only Warrior candidate who didn't get a titan at first, so there's also a possibility that Marley forced him to take back the titan so they wouldn't have to start over training new candidates. Or he could have volunteered to take the titan so he could feel connected to Marcel again in some way as part of his grieving process... I'm not sure. But you do have a point, most of the Warriors joined the program for their families, so I don't doubt that was also a motivation of Porco's. I'm just wondering if we're going to get a specific backstory for him like we did for Pieck. We know Pieck's father is her only family, so I guess she's an only child and her mother isn't in the picture (maybe dead?), and she joined specifically because she wanted him to get medical care that wasn't already available. Did he have the same goal as Pieck? Did he also have a sick parent who needed medical help? Was he part Marleyan and wanted to reunite the family just like Reiner? Were they in really bad financial despair? I'd like to see some flashbacks or something to give us concrete facts that give more depth to his character and background rather than just small hints that leave us speculating mere possibilities, if that makes sense. I was interested in his character since the moment the anime officially introduced him because I loved Ymir as a character and wanted to know more about the guy taking her place, so I kind of figured he'd have more depth rather than just being the one dude with a temper :v

I could see it going either way with Armin. We know he can turn on the acting when he needs to, but I can also buy that he would be moved by their good intentions regardless of whether he agrees with their plan. It probably came as a huge relief to know that Eren isn’t simply turning into a power-hungry asshole who no longer cares about his friends, but instead is working toward something he believes to be best for everyone.

@@Omertaa0 I began reading Berserk and got so many emotions and excitement even if I was just reading it. That kind of assured me that I would still get the satisfaction from the story of AoT even if I read the rest as while the action is always fantastic, the main reason I love AoT as much as I do is the story and characters. I am perfectly happy with my decision to do it, but you need to be absolutely certain you are okay with it before you do it as spoiling this and not getting what you want out of just the manga is doing yourself an enormous disservice. Yes, everything from where s4 left off to chapter 124 is imo the best AoT there is.

Sitting through Eren's bullshit for so many episodes i was so happy to see Pieck... but for a moment i was so angry when i thought she was changing sides but at the end i was cheering for them...it was a roller-coaster.

Eren's titan looked hand drawn at the end, the CGI attack titan wasn't too great sadly in my opinion (coming from a fan of the CGI in general) so im glad they drew it by hand there. The Jaw might have been CG cause honestly the Jaw, Armor, and Cart looked on point this season CGI wise, Beast Titan CGI looked great too except for the first episode.

I disagree with you they should read after they finish the anime, even for their format of video wich is reaction if they know what happens the reviews aftwards will be even short they will only talk about the manga and what they cut, many people are animes onlys and will not want to watch because of spoilers, they will not think about some crazy theories that only aot makes you think about, the reactions are better the plot twists are not the same when you already knows what will happen the only thing that's left for you is the hype of seeing all that animated. How i wish i could erase my memory only to watch the rest of the series for the first time animated without knowing anything
