    I realize most of these comments are from years ago, but just wanted to make sure you know that people are finding and loving your videos every day. I can't believe you don't have a stove/oven and still make this all work. You roast all your veg in a friggin toaster oven!
    Thanks Stacy. I bought your AIP recipe book because I want to support you, and selfishly, to encourage you to never stop inspiring us 🙂

    Hi Stacey! I’m a new subscriber & I’ve binge watched your videos all week in preparation to start AIP. You’ve mentioned that you workout & lift weights. So I’m wondering if you use a preworkout and if so, can you recommend one?

    • @RealWorldAIP
      @RealWorldAIP  5 років тому +2

      Hi Melanie! I'm so glad my channel is helping you on your AIP journey!😊 For pre-workout I eat about 50 grams carbs, usually from dates, and a cup of coffee (reintro, but you can use black tea for caffeine on elimination phase). The carbs and caffeine work for me. I am not a fan of most workout supplements and protein powders and all, soooo much marketing hype. I have tried a lot of that stuff over the years and found they didn't do anything I couldn't achieve with real food. Hope that helps!💕

    Sadly, I made an entire jar of homemade coconut butter, then used it to make this. Even storing it in the fridge, I all spoiled within 7 days. So sad to lose all that beautiful coconut butter!! I didn't really think water would spoil it so quickly, not sure if you thought of that. :(

    • @RealWorldAIP
      @RealWorldAIP  5 років тому

      I'm sorry about your coconut butter😔 I didn't have mine in the fridge long enough to find that out. I kept a small jar in the fridge and froze the rest in portions- I have to do that to prevent myself from eating too much of it all day long, lol.

    When the manna was added to the 4 oz of water in the VitaMix, it looked melted? At the beginning of the video, it was mentioned that no melting was necessary. How do you get the manna to that pourable texture without melting it in order to get it into the blender? Thanks!

    • @RealWorldAIP
      @RealWorldAIP  5 років тому +2

      I'm sorry, I should have clarified- I meant no melting of the final product (aka the fluffy spreadable coconut butter) will ever be necessary as it will be spreadable and soft right out of the fridge. It IS, however, helpful to melt the coconut butter before blending with liquid to make the fluffy spreadable coconut butter, BUT if you don't want to melt it, you can add the crumbly cold coconut butter to the liquid in a high speed blender like the Vitamix, and let it go on high for about 5 minutes- the heat from the blade friction will melt it for you.

    Since this is half manna and half other liquid, do you double the manna and lessen the liquid in a baking recipe?

    • @RealWorldAIP
      @RealWorldAIP  5 років тому

      I haven't used this to bake with, but yes, you'd have to make adjustments to liquid in recipe.

    So I think I used equal parts coconut butter and hot water, but after sitting in the fridge over night it was solidified again? Did I just not use enough hot water? I was almost positive I used equal parts. It was still much more spreadable than before, but I wouldn't call it fluffy and creamy.

    • @RealWorldAIP
      @RealWorldAIP  5 років тому

      It should be equal parts by weight, so 8 oz water per 8 oz coconut butter. It helps to melt the coconut butter first and blend very well for a few minutes on high speed with the water. It's possible you didn't use enough water. I would first try putting the batch back in blender for a few minutes until it's hot and liquified and refrigerate.. If that doesn't work try adding more water...the worst that will happen is you'll get a creamy salad dressing base instead of a spread☺

  • @jenswain9762

    I just tried coconut butter for first time, and was a bit frustrated that it was hard to use and will burn if left to soften too long in microwave. :( I will def try this! I don't have a high speed blender. Do you think a regular blender or food processor will work?

    BTW, I think I have exact same Vitamix, amazing! So worth it!!! Is that the dry blender or just a small extra container you bought separate (lazy Fibro lady here did not go walk to kitchen to look at hers! 🤣😜🤪🙃).
    Love your videos!
    ❓❔ What is a good recipe/plan book to really follow for AIP? I am really needing to learn it, not just look here & fb groups... (been sorta doing it 8 months, restarting the right way March 1st and want to be better with reintros and see if I get healthier, maybe I missed something...) Thanks!

      I got the 32 oz wet container amzn.to/2TokZx1
      They sell a 32 oz dry grains container too, but I wanted one for everyday stuff, the one that came with the blender was a bit too big for dips, dressings, etc.

    • @RealWorldAIP

    Heavens it actually works! Finally the coconut manna I bought 5 months ago and barely touched is getting the attention it deserves. So simple, and truly with the consistency of soft butter, I can enjoy my coconut butter on so many things now. You should send Nutiva this tip and they may be able to sell 10x as much manna for half the price.

    • @RealWorldAIP
      @RealWorldAIP  4 роки тому

      Yay, I'm so happy to hear this!!😊 One thing I should've mentioned in the video is that once you add water it shortens the shelf life, so I'd freeze any that you don't plan on using in the next 5 days or so. It should be fine when thawed, may just need to re-whip it😉
