One thing I love about Alex's mods is how his style doesn't stray too far from vanilla minecraft, his mods look like they could definitely be added onto the base game.
Idk whats with ur mc videos but they have really nostalgic vibes. Definetly my fav type of content you make, tho i still love other content u make. Ur videos definetly deserve more in my opinion as in views and overall attention. (Also u have probably seen me comment a lot in ur vids by now.)
"If I had to leave my house to shit in an outhouse like this, I think I'd rather shit myself" well considering the Forlorn Hollows are made of literally petrified shit (Guanostone and Coprolith), that's probably what happened lmao
I have been playing around with this mod in singleplayer for about a week now and it is already my favorite mod of all time! It has something for everyone and I think that it is a must for every modpack!
You can get an ominous catalyst crafted with 8 heavy bones that you can get from the long neck boys (called Relicheirus), and an amber curiosity, obtainable through mining those giant amber things. And if you throw it in a volcano, a big dinosaur called a Luxtructosaurus spawns, which is a new boss that has lava abilities like summoning meteors from the sky and breathing fire, after beating it a bunch of Atlatitans, which look like Luxtructosaurus, spawn.
Imo the coolest thing ive seen in alexs caves is the hologram thing where you can copy a mobs design and make a hologram of it I cant wait for them to make more mods or update the current mod
Ive been loving Alex's Caves so far but I gotta say, the Magnetic Caves were a bit of a let down in terms of exploration. No passive mobs, no tamable mobs, no food, only 3 pieces of equipment, and that hologram block. they just feel like regular caves with magnets everywhere, which i guess was the original point but im really glad they moved towards making their own unique caves with the latter additions like the primordial caves or abyssal chasm
@@GameRaiders101 the main way I found it was through OkRobert’s video on 5 Mods You’ve never heard of. I’ve got a whole list of mods that have cool bosses though if you’d be interested.
None of this is as terrifying as trying to fight a Warden. Those dudes are so fucking loud, they give the Deerclops from Terraria a run for his money. And they ignore armor defense, too, with their sonic boom screams. And that shit goes through blocks.
@@winged_jackalope because Gameraiders' channel is mainly Terraria content...? Are you new to this channel or something? Gameraiders has mentioned multiple times that the Deerclops is loud as hell (which I agree with), so it's a bit of an inside joke I guess for this channel.
Oh I’d love to see a modpack series with this mod in, its already one of the best Cave mods out and theres still more to come it seems! super creative and wellmade, I am a bigger fan of Alex now
The only cave I've actually managed to reach is the Forlorn Caves. I'll say this; getting that boss to spawn was NOT FUN. I like the concept, and I like it when you can fight the big thing, but getting it to spawn is the worst. Getting the miniboss to spawn is much easier, and I wish summoning the boss was just as easy. Also, the mole men drop the desolate dagger. Absolutely worth grinding for it; it attacks your enemy again after a short delay.
considering how fucked up the forsaken is, it's good it has a very unlikely chance of spawning naturally as a fun fact, the forsaken actually does bonus damage to creatures which rely on sound... aka the Warden. it's fucked up to see these things just tear into wardens, sure the big guy puts up a good fight but the Forsaken most of the time is winning the fight
people really don't aprretiate how much work goes into making a update the amount of things scraped the concept art and they have to port things to bedrock

His videos all have motion blur for sum reason. To me that makes it feel kinda nostaligc cause a lotta of early minecrafters had motion.

Minecraft team did bad cave update ?
Alex: Fine i will do it myself
I know we just got the caves and cliffs update but one of these I think would be fitting for the base game
My favorite part of the mod is the weapons. This and Celestisynth add really cool weapons.

I really thought that was Deviljho throwing around Great Jagras in the first few seconds.
Just recently there was a very terraria inspired mod that came out called Deep Space, I’d recommend it it’s pretty underrated!
