You remind me of my first Arabic teacher way back in the day at masjid. She was fresh off of the plane from Syria and did not speak a lick of English. She did speak French, which helped a lot. This was almost 20 years ago! I am getting back into Arabic and Devanagari languages during the CV-19. I had lost so much Arabic in the last 20 years that I could barely read. Thanks to Duolingo and channels like this, I will be back up to speed in no time! Great time to learn languages while we all sit at home.
Exactly. Hard not to agree with you, from my personal experience I can said that since the beginning of pandemics I started to have a true obsession about languages and I wanted to learn them too much than I could bear. However after some time of severe hesitation my final decision was to polish my Greek and to start learn Albanian, though I still take Arabic into consideration
The Arabic less0ns are very useful for the learners like me in Northern Pakistan. The Arabic teaching methods are very impressive. I have learnt much from these lessons.
Thank you so much for the videos. You literally saved me. I am taking Arabic in college my professor expect that I already know everything which is not the case at all. I really appreciate your hard work. JazakAllah You saved my grade❤️

I guess I have just come to the right classroom, I have a very good Arabic (Yemen) basic language from 3ilma, and family in Kenya. Now I feel I gotta take this once and for all. She is a perfect teacher explaining in the simplest model. Perfect/ Mumtaz.
So I can read and write Arabic, I have the foundation but this particular masculine and Feminine things in Arabic language always give me a hard time when it comes to speaking. You have explained it very well, thank you very much, it's really a big help.
Mashkoor jiddan for the very enlightening and lucid tutorial. Negation with Adjectives, nouns, titles : Put the negation (lastu) after the pronoun. Hal anta taalib ? Hal anta Ahmad ? Hal anti ustaaza ? Hal anti Fatima ? Are you happy (Farhaan)/ tired (ta’baan)/hazeen (sad) v I am not tired. Ana lastu ta’baan..
I hope one i will speak fluently arabic since i had started to following this Miss really i m felling so confident god bless to her but i want to see her pupill machalla
Why there are no more lessons after step-9. Please load all the lesson from 10 and above. They are very very helpful, professional and effective. Please go beyond lesson 9.
Please send me the link. The lessons I saw , in my opinion, are truly professional. What I am wondering is how come the English pronunciation is so well - may be the lady teacher got her English education from UK or USA. To me she appears to by a Syrian or Jordanian because the Egyptians do not pronounce so well. (No offence meant to any nationality)
اسلام و عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته مساك الله بالخير... انتي جيد جدا أستاذا.. الله خليك.. و يعطيك الصحة والعافية و يطول بعمرك و يرزقك من واسع فضله وكرمه يا رب.. جنسيتي باكستاني و استفيد كثير.. بس هدفي احتاج شهادة معتمدة من اي المعهد عربي. I am PhD and lecturer in the university but I have mission to complete my Arabic diploma to get myself register in 5 years Quran o hadeeth course where Umm AL Qura or Taiba university requires pre-intermediate Arabic language skills. My query is that how would I go through for the completion of my Arabic diploma while working in the university as a full time lecturer. There is an aptitude test before starting the program. Though, in 5 years Quran o Hadeeth course there is a subject Arabic. Your guidence ll be highly anticipated. Accept my best regards, Muhammad Khan.

In Arabic, the suffix -ka or -ki refers to the gender of the owner, not the object being owned. So, for "Is this your book": kitābuka if the owner is male. kitābuki if the owner is female. The gender of the object (book) does not change the possessive suffix?

Doesn't the ending - ka or - ki define the gender of the owner and not of the object owned?
