  • What a fossil hunt! We found a few big megalodon shark teeth in incredible condition while digging the creek here in Florida. We met up with some new friends from out of state and did our best to put Rob on some killer fossils. I think the day was a success!

i know this isn't much but I saw the video where you found an arrowhead and you were very excited. I have a ranch out in West Texas near a city called San Angelo and there was a ton of Indian activity in those areas. we have an area where it used to be a creek but dried up and when it rains water flows through it and brings tons of arrowheads into that arrowhead I have found a lot. My grandpa once found a spearhead prob about a foot long possibly without any chips in it and it was musuem quality

I am 50, I remember fondly my family finding sharks teeth on the beach around Jacksonville when I was about that boy's age. I kept all the teeth in a medicine bottle, that I still have to this day. Mine were very tiny teeth, he is going to treasure that megalodon tooth forever. Super finds.

I actually ordered one of those lovely little packages of gravel as a gift for someone but I haven't received it yet and it's been awhile. It keeps telling me the shipping label has been printed but it hasn't yet been delivered to the USPS, it's just been sitting somewhere for a week now. Probably because you are out hunting more awesome fossils and finding amazing sharks teeth and crystals and all kinds of fun stuff and are not at home. I do need it before Christmas though😄❤ when you do have time, please look at your recent emails, thanks so much!!!! Looking so forward to seeing how much cool stuff my Dad finds. We love to hunt for sharks teeth together at the beach, I thought it would be an interesting Christmas present. The hard part will be to not open it and look before he does😄

You can contact @fossilvoyages on Instagram, but nice megalodon teeth are not common and not always found. I always tell people that I can guide a trip to find shark teeth where a megalodon could show up, but I don't guide megalodon shark tooth hunting trips, if that makes sense. This was just a tiny patch of good, large gravel that turned out to be super productive.

Hi Foxy! it has to do with the morphology of the tooth. root a f blade shape, serrations, thickness, chevron shaped "burlette" between the root and blade, etc.
