In this video we look at the newly released "deep dive" into Planet Coaster 2, along with confirming atleast 9 of the upcoming coaster types in game! It's been really exciting looking through all of the features and tools coming to the game, especially things like the completely overhauled pathing system which looks absolutely amazing! I'm really looking forward to getting into the game and pushing the limits of what it can handle, because that's what we do here. Anyways, hope you guys enjoy this analysis style video looking into the upcoming coaster types and features of Planet Coaster 2!

Valais and Nidwalden are Swiss cantons. The former is the headquarters of B&M, not sure about the relevance of the latter, maybe the birthplace of one or both of the founders.

imagine using the ride customisation feature to make moving cars, or a dragon attached to a ride. This feature will be revolutionary.
The coaster stations really don’t bother me too much

The beast isn’t PCT. It’s made my Kings Island itself, it’s basically a giant backyard coaster because it’s made in-house

9:42 I'm guessing Kingdom Isle wooden coaster is a Dinn-style coaster with PTC trains since Charles Dinn was responsible for building The Beast at King's Island before starting Dinn Corp. And in PC1 the wooden coaster w/ PTC trains was called "Monster" (definitely not a reference to The Beast ;) ), so i'm guessing this is the new version of that.

3:32 I know when I filled out that questionnaire that Frontier put out earlier this year I was hoping I could suggest custom colors for paths. This new pathing system is basically exactly what I had in mind for my dream pathing tool. I didn't expect it to actually come true. I also dreamed of having a coaster editor to build custom coaster cars. I figured if we were lucky we'd get a Froza-style livery editor for trains at best. But now the coaster/ride editor is better than I thought we'd eve get. #Hyped.
One thing I don't think we're getting that I really hoped for would be more realistic stations, separate load and unload stations, dual loading stations, maintenance sheds, etc. We might get transfer tracks to help us pretend to have maintenance areas again. But i'd be super surprised we got the rest of that.
I LOVE that they now have silly little pun manufacturer names for the rides they are so fun
A small thing i'm hoping for is both 2-bench and 3-bench PTC trains for wooden coasters (along with the Millennium Flyers and Coney Island Cyclone trains from PlanCo 1), as a classic wooden coaster fan it would be helpful for variety. Or maybe a smaller gauge family wooden coaster (like Woodstock Express at the Paramount parks, or Comet at Waldameer)
Now that we finally have PlanCo 2, does that mean that making coasters in blender is out of the window? Asking for a friend 👀

a grass brush would be nice where u can paint different density or height of 3d grass
I'm pretty sure I saw a button saying foliage brushes, so I'm hopeful that there'll be a grass brush and other brushes similar to jurassic world evolution
I actually think the Big WaveZ is a really good family thrill ride and fits really well into planco 2
The Intamin 4 seater could be more like Skyrush/Flying Aces/Hyperion
In planet coaster 1 that was a separate coaster type
'Kingdom Isle' is very close to Kings Island, who has done in-house coasters before. I've always speculated that 'The Monster' wooden coaster type is based on King's Island's 'The Beast', which I doubt I need to mention but is a world famous coaster, record breaking when made and still record holding (Longest wooden coaster) to this day. Just...throwing this info out there, make do with it what you will. My thought is...Kingdom Isles may be the company we see 'The Monster' from. Lol.

The potential of adding animatronics to coasters, we can make coasters look like FPS games!!! Imagine you're on a coaster, scenery going wild, whilst wielding a bow and arrow on the POV...

When it shows the different Coasters I note the filter is under DLC and these Coasters how i see it will be DLC , what do you think ?
They have a tap wing coasters, so i would guess all wing coasters now will return, are 5 or something. Otherwise they wouldn't make an extra tap for it

I would really love to see a Mack Stryker/Big dipper model train in thr game!
It would be like the Gerstlauer Infinity with both lift and lsm and 1 car and 2 car trains you can toggle

dude genuinely tweaking over your comment but frontier has confirmed multiple times that there will be no way to bring over blueprints/parks from planco 1 to 2. Also, please learn a bit of grammar, I was struggling to get through your comment.
