    Dr. Gray, being on your show was an amazing experience! I hope people can learn from some of the mistakes I made, and also see that perfection is NOT required for an acceptance! Also (shameless self plug), I have some other videos on my channel that detail a little more about my premed and early med school experiences if anyone wants to see more of that!

    Fellow Eagle Scout here. I almost put it in my activities, but I was talked down by my advisor. Put it in the PS instead- was one of my “seeds” for medicine

    Did he only have 14 hours of shadowing or did I miss something? I thought you needed a minimum of about 50 hours

    does working as a suicide hotline worker and talking people out of killing themselves count as clinical experience?

      No cuz you can't smell the patient. Yes, I know it's total bs. But take it up with med schools.

      I know at least some medical school will accept it as clinical, at least during Covid. But I’m not sure about all of them
