Hi everyone. Today we are going to visit the incense village. About 5 kilometers from the center of Hue, you can reach (I recommend Moto Taxi from the Grab app, the cheapest to get there) the incense village of Thuy Xuan. Here there are dozens and dozens of shops and workshops where they make incense sticks, which in Vietnam are widely used in temples and pagodas as offerings (a bit like our candles in church). Incense is also burned in homes around the world to perfume rooms. Here in Thuy Xuan we see a myriad of colored sticks, which at a glance have an amazing effect. These thin painted sticks are nothing more than bamboo sticks, which are the basis for making incense as in the ancient tradition. Each color is covered with a different fragrance, green is usually lemongrass, red jasmine and so on for the various perfumes. In these places it is possible, in addition to incense, to also purchase local artistic craft objects. Let's look closely at this magical place….
