Thanks for playing and showing what the game is like. The writing is interesting and definitely makes you feel like you’re in a world that you barely understand. I love that.
marking as important means it warns you if you try to sell it, and if you throw/drop important things (like knives) you will auto-pick them back up when you auto-explore
I hit 2000 hours exactly the day before 1.0 released. Caves of Qud has been out for two weeks, but it's been my favorite game for years! It's great to see it reach folks that enjoy it so thoroughly. Thumbs up with letting folks play how they want; The other game modes were added for good reason! Ain't a wrong way to play... Except maybe not looking at things. You gotta look to learn, and you gotta run to live! And drink!
Qud is great! I've been playing it on and off for years, despite never really getting very good at it. Maybe now that it's 1.0 I'll stick with it a bit and see how far I can get.
I've been eye-balling this game for a while. glad it's finally released. I tend to not like to snag games before being "Official" due to bugs and progress resets. I am a HUGE GammaWorld nut.
I struggle with quite a few games with tiny text on the SD. It's a real issue. CoQ does have a number of accessibility options that make it easier to read and it's mostly fine.
@@TheDungeonDive maybe! You can always find it in the early game from the snapjaw shotgunners, so it might not be the best. But there's a skill that allows you to kick a close range opponent when you pew at them. That might be a good fit for a early shotgun build. I'm a beginner myself. Just lost my longest living character Mega Axe, almost twenty hours and 40 000 turns gone. It was epic.
Ohhoo! This is one of my absolute favourite pc games ever. Love its weird fiction/purple prose(in a good way) styled writing. I've been on and off watching your videos and didn't know you cover also digital games! Anyways Caves of Qud definitely fits with your interests in adventure games where anything can happen. Btw have you played another recent pc rpg Skald: Against the Black Priory? Just finished the story and it was superb Ultima inspired Lovecraftian indie gem. Maybe the most atmospheric game of the year for me. I think you might love it. Live and drink, wanderer
3 of the nearly 1,000 videos are about video games. Lol. Don’t worry bro. Also, you gotta let people grow and express other interests. All of these hobbies really are a single hobby - play. It really doesn’t matter how or where they’re played.
Yay, Digital Dive! Been eyeing this game, thanks for the video
Hell yes. Been getting into this and Moonring recently.
Both are so good!

Certified good taste. One of my favorite games of all time.
Right? It's amazing.
Love it! I would like to see more of it! Thanks!
Nice! Saw this game a while ago and immediately thought this was a Dungeon Dive kinda game! Posted about it in the discord.
Good video, well narrated & yes...more, please. :)
Man, I love Caves of Qud, and I love that you're covering it. Great taste!
Much appreciated!
I think you're onto something with this format... playing a video game... with spectators... seems very modern!
😄
LOL!
Book of the New Sun! Love that series.

Thanks! I wish it added something in the inventory to denote that it was marked! I kept looking for a highlight or a * or something.

Haven't played Caves of Qud for a few years now, but one of my favourite computer games of all time 🙌
It reminds me of Ultima for sure!
Yes, please stream this game

I love Caves of Qud to bits! I went bananas when Vaults of Vaarn came out as kind of an homage - what a game (what TWO games! ^^).
dwarf fortress gets a big recommend from me! thats a good one too
I used to love a game called The Magic Candle in the 80s and those looks like a total glow-up of that game. Looks great!
Just when I thought I had enough games on my Steam Deck!
+1 for the algorithm.
Hey Daniel ! Thanks for sharing this digital experience, I’m wondering how you feel about reading on the steam deck ?
I struggle with quite a few games with tiny text on the SD. It's a real issue. CoQ does have a number of accessibility options that make it easier to read and it's mostly fine.
@ thanks Daniel ! I have the same issue, hopefully more games will integrate accessibility options in the near future
I just got way into Qud!! I was wondering if you’d be into it too Daniel!!
Oh you can say I'm into it...a bit. More like an obsession right now! LOL
The pump shotgun deals 1d2 damage several times in a spread
Thanks! So better at closer range?

I have not played Skald yet, but it’s on my list.
What the hell? You aren't a pair of disembodied hands???
Fooled you!
First lol
Dungeon Dive was better than digital dive ,board game films are more interesting.
