Leslie, when you were bagging the flower did you hear me yell gorgeous?!! I love the idea and having them at everyone's place to take home was so perfect. I saw those placemats a few years ago, loved them and regret not having purchased them. They really set the tone. Yes, no need to defend yourself. Not one of us can please everyone and no one is forced to love all you do. I love you did not go crazy with bunnies and eggs. This is more elegant which is my style and in my home, I set the table any way I want. 😊I use mismatched antique china and the table police have not shown up yet! 🤣😂🤣 Thank you for all the work you put into these. 💝

I love the little crosses and wreaths. What a good idea and reminder of the true meaning of Easter. The orchid centerpiece is really pretty. Lisa Birmingham made one like this on her channel. The placemat under the orchids reminds me of the crown of thorns.

I went out and bought the greenery in dough bowl from Hobby Lobby, when I watched the dough bowl video!! (It truly is a staple to have).
Btw.. the lighting in there is way brighter!
My Easter table is always one of my favorites each year to do. I am not a “cutesy” kind of decorator, so a sophisticated Easter is pretty tricky. Last year I left the bunnies and eggs out and had fun designing a rustic, yet sophisticated, Easter table. I used grapevine wreaths as chargers to signify the crown of thorns, I tied linen napkins in a knot and laid them on the plate to signify the mention of after the resurrection the linen was found wrapped together in a place by itself. I had a large bowl of moss as the centerpiece with a massive geode in it that looked very much like Golgotha, the place of the skull. I have a lead crystal cross that I placed on the table at the base of the moss bowl atop an old hymnal. The cross was far from “old rugged”, but it definitely completed the scene. It was far different than anything I had ever done, but I enjoyed coming up with the different components.
This year I was going to do more of the spring side of Easter, but didn’t want to leave the REASON for the celebration out of my table. Your stick crosses are JUST the thing I needed to go with birds nests and sprigs of “spring”! I always enjoy your table settings and the thought you put into them. About the glasses “on the wrong side”…it did cause me a moment of anxiety, not that I would have written and complained, but it made PERFECT sense when you explained what your goal was. I don’t think a formal table would look nearly as fun as your’s, so break all of the rules you need to! 😄

I picked the black as well. It is a subtle contrast that makes it extra special. And it is time to change the old pattern of arranging things. I remember when I was a Brownie as a youngster and they taught us how to align the multiple forks, spoons and knives. You are in my prayers.

Beautiful options for dining. I like the black for the setting you just made. It is perfect! Both centerpieces are beautiful. I agree, prices are off the top these days. I have so much silk decor I am reusing and adding and taking away from arrangements to make them new again with my silks I have had for so many years. They look stunning. Sometimes we just need a push of someone else's input to renew our ideas!

I truly love decorating my table for Easter Sunday . I always use placemats but I’m really loving just the table runner . Best part of all was the twig crosses . I found a cute biblical activity for my grandkids Michael is 5 Marianna is 3 I call them “ my M&m’s “ lol anyway they get to put Jesus and other characters where they belong on the pics it’s really cute Amazon of course
