I've been driving from past 30years.. Yokohama tyres very recently came out to launch the earth one tyres claiming India specific.. B250 Bridgestone had long back did this.. Perhaps apart from Bridgestone and mrf none made proper tyres for India. Jk were happy with truck .. Most others like ceat, apollo, etc came out in TV adds with international launches but the best tyre tech is still with only Michelin and Bridgestone because they sponcered f1 and wrc cars ... even there tyres used to go flat!! It's highly difficult to claim the best tyre, as yokohama will be good till 15k kms later it loses its feel .. Mrf and jk will be hard throughout its life but worth for travel cabs. I don't see much in other brands but it's just a personal choice and budget thing!! 😎

Indian tyres.. Mrf,apollo, jk , ceat, etc.. All these tyres are good enough! If You want premium looks go for top order.. If you want desi reliability our tyres are good too. Maintain tyre pressure and alignment.... Only highway use take Michelin.. Highway with slightly urban road Bridgestone.. Only village type roads MRF or JK, Collage boys modified cars yokohama, budget tyres for car dealers apollo ceat, And goodyear is also a decent performance tyre. Choice is yrs !!!

Hello , need to change tyres for my i20 Elite ( petrol top end ) . I want to go one size up but am confused as it might rub with the body or fenders. Main requirement - good performance, good braking, low noise.
Yoko is hard compound tyre due to this you would hear a bit road noise inside cabin. Conti is soft compound and it’s less noise.
For Octavia it’s better to go with conti instead of yoko.

Tyre upsize is no good for Indian roads. We loose stearing feel,suspension stiffs, also note yrr ABS gets noticeable difference
Hence stick to oe size unless you are into any motor sports. Wearing bigger shoes don't mean you can run faster!! Choice is yours !

Honda City ZX Diesel Variant 2017 comes with tyre size 185/55R16. We will not recommend 205/55R16 in place of stock tyres as the same doesn't come under the permissible limit of tyre upsizing.

I use Yokohama earth 1, It was heavy rain, roads were not clear, Ghats area, My tyre was busted when I hit a hole in the road. The best part is, The car was intact with the road, there was no other major impact. Feel wise, I had changed from MRF to Yokohama, the ride experience itself will change and it's good one. Will not suggest for off-roaders! But it is a wonderful tyre that your car will love it.

My Honest review after using them for 5 years and 60,000 KMs.
Upgraded from JK Vectra 165(OEM) to 185 Earth 1. R14
Noise: Same or maybe slightly better than entry level OEM tyres
Comfort: Ride will feel stiff and every small bump will be felt. I.e. the tyre are on harder side.
Longevity: 60K kms and I still have 10-15K kms tread life left (in rear tyre). So if you follow regular rotation you can easily squeeze 80-90K from them.
Sidewall is strong and I have not faced any rupture or uneven bulging till now.
High speed stability and grip is excellent, even at zero tread life(my front tyres) they feel grippy and never squeak.
Dislike: They have become extremely noisy after 30K Kms and even slightly rough tarmac will make them scream inside the cabin. These were never quite to begin with.
So if comfort is your goal, look elsewhere. I bought them by reading "Low noise" written on the website and every review had it, but I was disappointed.

Hi, I am using Figo Aspire 2017 Model. Factory fitted tyre is Apollo Amazer 3G. So far I drove 32000 km. I still have treads in tyres but I can feel the roughness in highway cruising.
