They are channels about making channels, drafting more people to make videos about making videos. Not sure how many videos can be made about the process of making videos but I haven’t touched the bottom yet😂
I see these videos all the time now too and couldn't agree more. UA-cam won't ever be "easy" but to your point I think it can be simplified to make it more sustainable for content creators of all ages.
The whole "on easy mode" is rubbing me the wrong way. It makes me feel that I'm doing it all wrong because I'd like to practice my story telling with a camera, editing, all the things I do. I'm simplifying the process by making sure I do a lot of streamlined preproduction, so the editing takes less time. Simplifying by learning the shortcuts so the editing process goes faster. I think that making the process simpler is smart, and we should aim to do so. But if everyone does "youtube on easy mode" wouldn't every video look the same and eventually the pendulum will swing back again to higher production values because the viewer wants something new? I don't know. I'd say, do UA-cam however you want to do it and people that are your people will find you and your channel. I'm off my soapbox now. This exact thing was on my mind today and prevented me from filming because I was so worried about it, that I'm doing it all wrong. Tomorrow I'll get back on it tho. Thank you for making the video that I didn't dare to make 😅😅
Thank you for sharing your thoughts. Creating content on UA-cam is definitely not 'easy', at least for me. I also agree with the other comments about how misleading some of those videos can be. Like anything worthwhile, it requires time and effort.
I watched a bunch of those vids when they popped out on my home page too haha I can tell when UA-cam is hinting at my failing channel when they start recommending UA-cam for UA-camr channels haha
Just the term “easy mode” makes me laugh. If by easy they mean the UA-cam landscape for people in their 40s, 50s, and 60s is small so there is a “easier” chance to stand out…? Either way making UA-cam content a consistent part of your life takes work, and there are no shortcuts
You always make me contemplate. And sometimes in another direction than you start talking about ... So you made me think about: Many talk about growing on UA-cam, Instagram, Tiktok etc... What about another word: HARVESTING -picking the fruits from whatever we share on social medias ( it's what we do with apple trees in the autuum 🙂) Another thing is it's called UA-cam, but sometimes what I see and listen to out there bey many different authors is what I would rather call MEtube, WEtube, OURtuve,, THEIRtube and so on You might see it other wise. And that's perfectly okay. See you tomorrow cheers !
I've watched a few of the UA-cam videos about how to succeed making UA-cam videos. I think the creators are either: 1) selling courses or 2) posting this type of content because at the moment this kind of content is getting a lot of eyeballs. I really hope this trend ends soon.
