That Parker win has aged like fine wine for both Whyte and joyce. 2018 Whyte was great. Defo Top 3 in the division behind AJ and wilder. Probably top 2 as his resume was better than wilder. Wilder, joyce, miller, Ruiz are all fun fights for Whyte.

@@soundwavesuperior28 ok yes wilder faced weak competition but let’s be honest. The man was a freak. He should’ve beaten fury the first time if anyone else was reffing and I love Jack reiss. It ended up being the right decision but the kd was sickening and most refs would stop it. Usyk was nowhere near close to that and he’s the best right now. Then people would discredit the Luis Ortiz win especially the first one but honestly even a damaged Luis Ortiz gave Ruiz a schooling and one who’s chin wasn’t broken would’ve won that convincingly. The kds saved ruiz and even then ortiz imo should’ve won. Also people forget Dominic breazeale was on a good run in 2017-2018 before wilder flatlined him way quicker than AJ did and that was a more aggressive AJ then the one now. It’s not an amazing resume. We will never truly know but he was considered at the time top 2 with aj for a while. Hindsight is 20/20. We forget even last year everyone was saying wilder would spark out parker and AJ.

Hearing effe ajaba being mentioned in this video brought forth disappointing memories that I didn't want to remember. Dude could have been a real heavyweight contender, but you can tell how badly he's softened up once he started making big money. He and Jared Anderson have been vocal about not being in love with the sport and pretty much just do it for money and social media fame. Sad really.
