1. Not enough sleep
2. Bored
3. Eating too quickly
4. Eating mindlessly
5. Not enough protein and fat
6. Too long between meals
7. You’re stressed
8. Feeling sad and down
9. Your diet is too restricted
Eating processed and sugary foods triggers me to eat more of it. I'm not satisfied for long after I eat it, and end up wanting more of the stuff the rest of the day. So it's been really important for me to start the day right. My first meal sets the tone for the rest of my day usually.
Yesss me too like I can't eat 1 swiss roll or oatmeal cream pie(Little Debbies ex-addict here). If I eat 1 I'm eating like 5/6 that's why I quit them like a drug and I don't miss them !
For sure! Having more protein in the morning generally keeps you fuller for longer...and less likely to crave things later on.
It's great that you have insight into your personal food triggers Ashley. Some things we can have small amounts...and others we just can't (at least not yet).
@@ashleybankscoaching I used to buy Little Debbies every week and was one of the many bad foods that got me up to 200 pounds. If you don't buy them, you can't eat them. I made up my mind I was losing the weight, and I did.
Me tooooo, if i make even the smallest mistake like taking a candy or taking a bite of cookie, i decide i might aswell just make today a cheat day and i eat until i feel like im gonna throw up 😭😭
These tips are amazing because I find I struggle with them all and tend to forget a couple while I focus on the other issues. This video is a great asset to remind myself!! Thanks. Saving this

Hi Ivana. I love your channel. I was wondering your thoughts on intermittent fasting, since you mentioned going no more than 5-6 hours without eating.
These are so bang on. My issue is I don’t enough throughout the day and have an extra large meal

Kiwi… I don’t think the large meal is an issue but it depends what your meal is ! I love low calorie meals that let me have my fill guilt free and satisfying.👍

Today, I overate. For breakfast, I ate a banana. When I went to church, I found out that we were having church dinner. During church dinner, which was actually lunch, I had meatless lasagna that was made by my aunt Becky, a chicken leg that was made by my aunt Susan, a roll that was made by my aunt Judy, two grape tomatoes, some corn, and a pretzel that was made by my cousin Sarah. For dessert, I had strawberry cheesecake. When my uncle Andrew drove me and Daddy home, I told him to hurry up because I was feeling sick from eating too much. He just said, "sweetie, you'll feel better after a couple of hours." When I got home, Mommy was cooking egg rolls. She asked me what was taking me and Daddy so long at church. I told her that we had church dinner and that I ate too much. When I smelled the food cooking, I threw up a little bit. For dinner, I ate some of the pasta I cooked a couple of days ago. I was well enough to go to church. After church, I ate only one of the cookies that my cousin Andy made. Now, I'm here lying in bed. My tummy is still hurting from overeating.
Stop going to church.
