malikail57 and it didn’t have to! I agree with Ric (a very rare occurrence) that Hennig should have been kept with the horseman. NWO needed a real faction to feud with, and with Benoit, Flair and Hennig it could have been a good team (especially if they made Mongo an auxiliary horseman and replaced him with an actual worker like Milenko who i believe is comparable to Tully within the original incarnation).

This was a crazy week indeed. On both shows you saw who is in control of what is seen in American households. And this was in the 90s. Before all the cancel culture that followed. One show had a name for a character that got complaints. The other show performed a skit that was too close to the the truth. Examine the results. Reformulate opinion or potential hypothesis.
My interpretation: don't reach too far. You can have your shows and their satire, so long as it doesn't reach us, or the minds of those we are fooling. Keep it elbow drops, double axe-hammers, figure four leg locks. Limousines. Pretty women. Gold watches. But there is yet a final curtain that must be kept drawn. Even for the most keen of audience members. And should a fellow happen to stumble beyond then off with his head. And perhaps yours too.

Rocco Roc was actually really solid and well respected by his peers. Grunge not so much. He was a garbage brawler.

I guess Luger never got over his Summerslam win without getting the WWF championship three years earlier. So he did this win just to stick it to Vince.

This Lex Luger was money! His whole over the top antics were just so incredibly funny and added so much levity to an otherwise dull main event roster
