A banger every day of the week for me. Sang with feeling and total class with a great backing - magic and again a dip into vocal territory not often visited..... btw Good to see you back
Banger! I enjoy everything about this song, the lyrics, the rhythm & Elvis sounds absolutely brilliant. Sorry you're still unwell Seph, but it was lovely to to see you today 👍❤️
I loved this bitter sweet song from the first listen. It seems as if it always takes a long time to recover these days. I wish you all the best, take your time!💚☀️
Ah Seph - so sorry that you have not been well - thought all was not right when there were no notifications for a few days but so glad that you feel better and are able to continue with your reactions - I like the song - Elvis has his "sad" voice on here which I love and the song had a nice vibe to it - very nice to listen to though - keep and stay well - sending hugs 🤗💛
I love all of his recordings just because of that voice, but some less than others of course. This one has never been a favorite. Hoping you are feeling better and staying healthy and happy. We all miss you, you know. Thanks for this one!❤❤❤
I was so distracted listening to this song because it reminded me of another Elvis song. Finally it came to me...'Life' . They were both written by the same person but 'Life' has a great story and message. Good to see you back Seph but take care and get yourself back to 100%. ❤
Glad to see you up and about again. 💐 Stay well. I agree about the song but hearing Elvis's voice is always a joy. Thanks for finding another I haven't heard.
I've liked this song ever since I first heard it. When I listen to the lyrics it sounds to me as if he's singing about Dixie Locke who was his first girlfriend. They started dating before he became famous and they remained friends right up until he passed away. I've read her book. She was a lovely lady who we lost only recently. RIP Dixie ❤ 😊
I fell in love with Elvis from the fifties, and I love his songs from that era just as much as many of his later songs. It just depends on what mood I`m in. I am never in the mood to listen to this one. Thank you, Seph :)
Oh,Seph what kind of ill are you ?🥰 I did’nt know you were ill . Take your time ,to take care of yourself we Will be here when you come back . We’ll wait .❤️
@@SephPlays Hi Seph, sorry, I don't really want to interfere in your affairs. But you say yourself that you haven't been really healthy since Halloween and you talk about better and worse days. Could it be that you have Long Covid? I wish you all the best.
Don’t wish to take you for granted but was concerned for your health when you had not posted a video for a few days. Sorry to learn that you have not fully recovered from your recent illness and hope you will be back to full health very soon. Agree with your comments on this song. Not one that I would particularly choose to listen to.
It doesn't really sound like a Elvis song to be honest. It sounds more like he is trying to be modern and keep up in 1969, instead of just being the GREAT Elvis Presley here and doing his own thing
My Little Friend can't compare with ANY of his 50s songs....Those early songs are what catapulted Elvis to fame and stardom. Granted, Everybody has different tastes, but his songs of the 1950s are the foundation of rock and roll. At least that's my opinion .
One of the most forgettable songs from this time period imo. Missed your reactions, glad to see you back. Take some time off every now and then is totally fine. Also gives you the time to learn the songs and digest them. Must admit I re-watched some of your older reactions in the meanwhile. Gotta have me some Seph reactions, all those other headnodders makes me go bonkers.
I have to agree with you Seph. Not one of my favorites. Very good analysis of this one I think 😃👍 On romantic love (honest opinion & I would also like to say that I mean no offense to anyone & nor do I judge anyone for living their life & learning along the way): I think there are more times than not we mistake temporary passion for love. Sometimes we are not in the right heart space or head space for a deeper emotional connection. And sometimes we have some growing up to do before we are ready for a deeper and more fulfilling emotionally and mentally romantic connection. Sometimes you have to walk away from a relationship. The reasons can be many. I think too that love is not always enough. Sometimes you have to take a step back from what you are feeling in the moment and use logical judgement to really ask yourself if this person's ambitions and values and current life path is align with yours. How well you really know this person and if you do not know them as well as you thought you did then can you really be all that sure this is love? Or it is something else? We hear it currently all the time: Love is blind. Love is fickle. But sometimes it isn't love. You have to take time to really determine if this is it for you or not. There is no need to rush. No need to be so hasty. Take your time. It's okay to take things slowly, to get to know yourself first and love yourself and know what your own boundaries are. I have seen so many rush into something only to feel stuck and regret it. Get to know what you value first so that when you know how to determine if the people you date and get into a relationship have values that are more in tune with yours. Well! That is certainly enough of that! @@thepuma2012 Hey Puma 🙋 I think for the majority of us hindsight is 20/20. I read in a book once an older woman saying that if her life was laid out before her like a road map she would be able to point to all of the wrong turns she made and all of the detours that life put in her path. Yeah, not a favorite song. Every song can't be a triple banger, but every song is better than some of those movie songs. I'm so sorry that you're still not feeling well. You've been ill for quite some time. I really, really hope you're getting better gradually. Best wishes and love.
This well crafted song lacks for nothing except excitement. Actually I'm surprised this tune came up since there's quite a few good tracks left of the Memphis sessions as well as 2 nice songs from Change of Habit. Get better Seph.

I thought the same thing, now I know why !! I Love the message and the storytelling of the song "L I F E" ❤ but not so much this one.
I like this story too, how the writer describes first love... really like the song, also the horns and background voices
I'm pretty sure Elvis DID love everybody. 🤣
