Good video xaryu. One thing however to keep in mind is that rogues do get a one-up on mages with the addition of pvp trink in phase 2 to dispel poly. this somewhat changes the matchup a little
Nice analysis bro. Since those are ideal scenarios where both parties have all the cds up and the trinkets for the specific 1v1 encounter. But in world PvP you never know the situation you are going to find yourself in, and that's what makes the adrenaline pumpin right? Thanks for the tips.

Could you make a video about nutrition? It's always been a bit daunting to me but I'd like to know what I should do on a daily basis aside from eating healthy. I'm talking about stuff like drinking 64 0z of water/day, wheat grass shots, tumeric shots, etc. The minor/major things a person should be doing every day to keep healthy.
Man you gotta be so quick on your feet and keep track of so much stuff in these duels. Usually I just get stunned to death and die before be able to do anything. I'm a rogue though
I think it's pretty telling that Xaryu prefaces this that "if both classes have all their cds" it's a 50/50 split. So in other words, an equally skilled mage versus an equally skilled rogue, the mage will ultimately win almost every encounter (unless they mess up royally) because the "have all your cds" scenario very rarely ever plays out. Rogue cds are much longer, and every Rogue utility or cd can be essentially countered by a Mage on demand, it's just basic math really. And even if a Rogue has all his cd's, it's only a 50/50 split, Mage just has too many outs.

keep in mind that when someone vanishes, you only see the last direction they were going in before they stealthed. as a druid, to throw people off, i'll start running in one direction, stealth, and then immeditiately start walking in the opposite direction. more times than not, i see people spam aoes in the direction they saw me going in and that gives me a great opportunity to get their back.

Hey Xaryu could you make a guide how you go about 1v2? I can see myself sometimes winning 1v1 vs rogue but if they have a friend it seems impossible? I guess you arent supposed to win 1v2 if the opponents are the same skill as you
haha, at 6:54, its a great position to be in, until phase 2 when rogue gets trinket XD
At the same time, Mages will also have their trinkets. It's just one more CD to have to contend with on both ends.
sap, cheap shot do no dmg to him, back into stealth, Sap, cheapshot no dmg, 5 point expose armor, back into stealth, One shot ambush, gg.
CS is only a 4 second stun, not enough for a restealth unless they have the reaction speed of a turtle. You CAN restealth off a KS, but KS ends right as you restealth so at that point if they're faster on the macro spam than you are, they break you out since they know exactly where you are.

Whole scheme falls apart with spider belt, escape arists and/or improved sprint. Not having to used that first vanish and skull would have put the rogue miles ahead.
Hey Xaryu, I downloaded your XarUI add on and I'm getting a LUA error. Are there any updates since you posted the dropbox link on your google doc? I have the Battle For Azeroth UI in my add ons folder and also made sure the parent folder is not in the add on folder like you mentioned in your add on video.

In the first duel the rogue auto attacked you to put you in combat then gouged without an extra gcd to gouge your blink fyi

@@OhmegadJT huh yeah just rewatched it and he does ambush. The blink macro xaryu uses sometimes has a delay which im guessing is how he still got the gouge off

@@fantasee1 i guess what i really forgot is that preparation does not set blind back anymore in BC and trinket gets u out of the first. so u can use block against cloak. i think that helps the most. but first i didn´t think of water ele too yes
@@johng2794 rogue do shitty dmg in tbc to compared to classic so it's super easy to just outlast em i remember back in tbc you were expected to not even use ele v rogues as they were already to easy
who do you think is the best rogue to watch?
In the second duel, u had 10 sec CD on blink and 9 sec on block duration, why didnt u just wait in block for that blink CD to come up?
Any reason you use coc and not arcane explosion to fish them out of stealth?
Rank one arcane explosion is probably fine, I use CoC sometimes when I think I've got them.
You didn’t use the skull of impending doom yourself thought xaryu, great item against rogues aswell cause it breaks you out of blind like an extra block, so u might wanna use that my wizards.

@xaryu if a warrior uses spell reflect will it reflect a frost nova? Or only spells like bolt and fire blasts?
Spell reflect does not work versus AoE, only single target spells

Talk about Cone of Cold use. A lot of the time I see people use it, it hits when it doesn't look like it should. When I use it and I think it'll 100% hit, it doesn't lol.

Against mage as a rogue my typical opener is Sap, Cheap Shot without breaking sap to generate combo points, Gouge, cold blood evis then blind
why gouge when you can ambush and then evis ?
Eviscerate is stronger with extra combo points. Even better is gouge, restealth, cs again cold blood eviscerate. Or gouge, wait for energy, nade, sinister strike, cb, eviscerate. U want 5 combo points for eviscerate ideally

As a League of Legend Chall' veterant beginning my journey in WoW classic, i have one thing to say : WoW pvp is so easy. You literally can write a full code and spam one key to do exactly what you want frame perfect. In MOBA's, that's called cheating.

Hey I was going to tell you.. Grab the Tidal Charm trinket... It stuns for 3 seconds and that it’s on a 15 min CD.. Check it out man.. 🤘🏻
in most servers its nearly impossible to get. Mob respawns every 36 hours and is usually killed instantly. You need to not move out the area for like a week and log several hours a day to get it reliably, no one wants to do that.
