The CRKT Minimalist is a solid small knife. I carried it for a while. It's not big enough to be intimidating in an office environment. So it can be used to open boxes, letters and packaging without non knife owning coworkers freaking out. I gave mine to my father in law as protection because he was a cab driver. He could access it with either hand without reaching towards his waist or pocket. The bad guy wouldn't suspect he's not defenseless.
CRKT Minimalist is a series of blades, or has multiple styles, like the cleaver, the (I think) katana, and more!
He’s a cab driver? He needs a gun, not a knife.
I came here to say how well the katana one has been treating me
I have both the Bowie and katana versions. I like the katana because it’s a bit larger, but the total length is like a mid sized pocket knife opened. Works great for edc
I upgraded to the S.P.E.W. It's the older brother. Slightly fatter grip size with a blade 3/4" bigger on warncliffe blade. They have a tanto and cleaver style too. Amazon list all 3 on the same page. It's a nice affordable set up that doesn't charge shipping. The one I got is $23 right now. The other 2 are under 40
"I too like a potato hanging off my neck" - Morakniv
So does the Swedish.
Love me some taters, but keep them off my neck! 😂
It actually is a lot smaller that this dude makes it look and it's about as light as even the minimalist
The CRKT Minimalist is one of the top neck knives of all time.
I love the CRKT Minimalist line. They're compact and elegant. The little lanyard "tail" is functionally ingenious and even cute. The line has quite a variety of blade profiles to pick from now, so there's something for everyone.
I carry my CRKT Minimalist as a boot knife. 5.11 boots have the perfect pocket for them. Fantastic fit and super concealed
Love my Crkt minimalist Bowie. I have it attached to me keys. Goes everywhere I do. I also have a Crkt S.P.E.W on my belt at all times.
Just a little tip for the last knife if you put the handle into the sheath, it has an extended handle
The fourth knife is really beautiful
I carry a minimalist every day on my belt as a “gtfo me” knife since my workplace is a gun-free zone in a bad part of town. Even with my shirt tucked in, wearing it vertical on the inside of my belt at 3:30 position makes it virtually invisible. If anyone asks, it’s a “cutting tool”
How do you carry it inside your belt? I assume you have a non-stock sheath? If so which one im interested in carrying mine in a similar way
@@graysonmclester9137 it’s the stock holster. It’s hard to explain because I discovered it on accident. Just put the loop facing upwards towards the knife handle and wear it with the sheath on the inside of the belt instead of the outside. You’ll get what I mean. And if you want to switch the draw grip from overhanded to underhanded, just take the loop off and put it on the other side.
I belt carry the CRKT S.P.E.W. Which is basically just the minimalist but slightly larger with a better handle, and I fucking love the thing. A lot of people shit on crkt, but they have some great knives for someone looking to spend 25 or $50 on a knife that will last you forever, unless you are Bear Grylls or Les Stroud.
Few weeks ago I sharpened an Izula from very blunt to razorsharp.
White River M1 is a great knife. I love mine.
Im 6’2 with big hands and the minimalist fits my hand better than most mid sized flip knives. Contoured super well and nothing is knocking that tiny blade from your hand if you are gripping tight.
The M1, with xy11m gp22 with added 44mm ggst
I have the first 3 and I've been planning to get the Mora
I live my Izula. It's definitely saved my ass on more than one occasion.
I absolutely adore my CRKT. I have a Rovyvon Angel Eyes attached to the sheath-knife, flashlight together in one place. Highly recommend.
White river M1. Such a great knife. Use mine as a pocket fixed.
I'm curious how you carry it. If I could find a pocket fixed that stuck out ½ to ¾ inch like my Delica, I'd get it.
@@rapierlynx UltiClip on the stock sheath works great for me.
I live by Morakniv knives. I have the companion, 2000, and the Garberg. All fantastic knives that are always with me when camping or hiking
My favorite is the Spyderco ARK
👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I’ve carried the crkt minimalist for 5 years. Fished, went back country camping, paddle board fishing, golfing too. I have the Spyderco para 3, bench made griptillion, I would take the minimalist over them any day.
I like the minimalist
I have the minimalist, It’s great as my work knife, easy to sharpen and holds and edge, Used it to cut boxes to cover Door sills the other day. Highly recommend
Do you think it would work to stab someone?
I carried the minimalist horizontal on the belt for a cross body draw. Just stepped up to the CRKT SPEW. The minimalist next size up, basically. Love both knives. Won't carry one around my neck, though. Their annoying, inconvenient, and can be concealed in a better spot.
I love that cavivi I have one and it’s my favorite
You missed my favorite & EDC, Spyderco ARK. Rust proof!
I wish more people could just hold a white river knife. They just feel fantastic. I love my white river hunter.
I own aVictorinox Outdoor Master Mic S, and I would recommend it to evwry one!
I have several Mora Eldris knives. I actually carry the Eldris in my coat or pants pocket.
Beautiful and practical knives. 🇲🇦🇲🇦
Just got a spyderco subway, great neck knife 🔪 😊
I have a mora eldris, usually love mora knives but i think the eldris is one of their few flops
I have that exact CRKT Minimalist. It's tiny but even with my giant monkey paws, it's still super usable. Bonus, I didn't pay for it. I found it in a Uhaul truck that came from the other side of the country while I worked there.
That's mine😂 I left mine in a uhaul
I like the Ka-bar BK 13 Ray Moro to ..! ^^
I got the spiderco subway bowie, it’s my first neck knife and I love it
Hm I like the 4th knife
CRKT S.P.E.W with an ulti clip and use it as a pocket knife
love the izula 2 but not liking how to handle stays together
the minimalist also comes in lile 8 or 9 different blade styles
I've got a crkt spew
I have A few m1 capers and they are by far my favorite knive
Love this style of video
I have the Esee izula in a pocket on my hunting pack
That mora looks neat!
I got one a couple years back and it has held up incredibly well!
I’d say the minimalist isn’t too small. Average sized.
Love my izula🕷
The m1 and crkt and circulars look good I mean really good
White River M1 and Eldris seems interesting to me
Small fixed blade for really comfortable pocket carry? I love and recommend QSP Canary. It is really small, with beautiful denim micarta, and my favourite 14c28n 🔪🥰🔪
Crkt Biwa is my favorite
I have 8 different crkt minimalist knives and they are all individually my favorite knife... review the minimalist katana and Persian if you get a chance...
LT Wright Patriot. Great lil necker.
Minimalist is looking pretty sweet
The CRKT minimalists have trash sheaths. Expect to purchase a custom sheath to make it safe to carry
Morakniv never fail to make cheap but durable knives
Cold steel super edge
Is a nice neck knife
Kizlyar mole and Kizlyar
hedgehog?
Do 5 bushmen knifes
I love my TOPS ferret, it sure is a solid little knife!
Crazy how Azula got a knife named after her and not Mai
Great List ! But like my Off Grid All Day necker !
For the Morakniv, can't you put the sheath on the handle for a larger grip?
you can, but i find the knife to have really great hand feel on its own.
yeah, but I rarely use it in that capacity. it has a pretty decent handle without stacking the sheath on the end.
Benchmade 210
The Civivi looks sick…I have the first 2. Those Izulas have a lot of counterfeits that are less than $10 WAC, at least a few years ago. They should make more skeletonized knives like the Benchmade SOPC with better quality steels. I always liked that design, even though it’s really for one reason lol
I got a legit one, def worth the hype. One of things I got and at the time id wanted it for a while but I didn’t think id use it that much. Still my absolute fav to this day still.
I'm eyeballing the Civivi hard. I'm really starting to like these skeletonized fixed blades.
@@jonniesaur yes, I have both. The real one is definitely a solid knife.
Y’know, I don’t know what I was expecting when I heard “neck knives”, but this is not what I was hoping for.
Dude small that thing is huge
I never understand carrying a knife that doesn't have a proper handle. Does the space saved really outweigh the utility of the piece?
i love my kershaw brace but that civivi is really calling me
No crkt spew?
The only one worth the money is the White River. Otherwise, just get the Cold Steel Minitac for
The mora chonk 😂
Do the Civivi have a sheath ??
My preference is a Kabar Jarosz fixed blade. Works just as well for a self defense neck knife (I am very particular that my neck knife is ONLY used as a last ditch fighting instrument, I have other knives for all my other purposes) and it more than likely costs half of what any of these do and does the job just as well.
Como adquirir uma dessa?
wuts ur opinion on cobratech, i have an OTF from them and i love it, it’s treated me well
Do a list of the best wrist knives!
Does the izula say Rowen when you buy it or did you customize it? I just had my first born 3 days ago and her name is Rowen.
How much is the civivi?
What do you call knives with bulky handles and small blades? I love those
Mora Eldris
Why do they call it neck blades. Heard about it for the first time on bf4
What dose bro do with all of these knifes
Can someone explain to me the Scandinavian grind? Like what advantages it has to other grinds?
It is like a chisel ground on both sides instead of one. And just like a chisel, it’s great for small depth wood cuts like notches. It’s not the best for splitting wood or food prep with the grind as it tends to bind up, but can still be doable since most scandi knives are usually around 1/8” thick or less.
Wildsteer krill just my edc knife during 3 hears and can be nec knife. Mega epic 👌🗿
Yeah! “Don’t be fooled by it’s small size!!!!”
MOAR NECK KNIVES
When i read nek knives at first I thought about "neck slitting knives"
I had the CRKT Minimalist and loved it until my dumbass lost it 😭
Or as my younger sister refers to it The Makora Chode knife 😂
Bro can u make sone budget version videos like this? Im not filthy rich
Thought he meant they go in peoples neck
Haven't seen a single Great Neck knife in this video. Thought they only made tools?
❤
The first 3 are gonna break easily
*hears m1* ah, so its a semiautomatic knife that pings when you unsheath it
i thought they're called neck knives cause they're meant to plunge into someone's neck efficiently
Finally, some *AVERAGE* sized knives. So many knives these days are just way to long and girthy.
When he said neck knife I thought he was gonna show us knives that are good for cutting someone’s throat
Idk if id carry a knife sharpened by kratos next to my neck
Why is it called a neck knife?
It hangs around your neck on a lanyard. You can conceal the thin ones under your shirt.
