she knows she is right, but she wanted aqua to feel his secret was safe- thats why she spun it that way so she could comfort him without giving away she deduced his 2nd biggest secret (1st being his reincarnation). This will be made even more apparent in some events to follow after the tokyo blade arc
@@debdal6 love the fact itll reveal later the things akane did is the best option she have to help save aqua, akane is the smartest, understanding & nicest in the series ngl the others especially kana couldnt even reach akane lvl now
If you look back at the telephone game sequence in episode 2, Abiko was essentially complaining about how much the characters are talking and GOA muttered to himself about how he feels the script would be better with fewer lines - they had the exact same opinion about the direction the script should go in, they were just let down by the middlemen. In that sense, it's not at all surprising that they hit it off immediately when they actually got to work together directly.
14:04 A connection to Ai? Of course he does. He is like a foster dad of her son! He knew her and worked with her. Do you think that family had a lot of close friends? No, so he was probably pretty in-the-know. Context clues prove Taishi to be pretty much family. If he knew about Aqua being there when Ai was murdered, he probably knew about who Aqua's actually mom was.

I'm really interested to see if we'll get to see more of Ruby's dark-side as well now that they've revealed the potential. She went through just as traumatic an experience as Aqua did, trapped on the other side of the door from her dying mother, but they've never really alluded to that yet.
They were definitely both traumatized don’t get me wrong. But I wouldn’t say it’s the exact same for both of them in terms of what they experienced. I believe during this section in the manga Aqua mentions how unlike Ruby he had to see Ai slowly die, specifically noting how he felt her hand go cold. Hate to compare two very traumatic experiences, but Ruby would probably have been more traumatized if she was on the other side of the door. It’s good she wasn’t though, since mentally she was still 12 and given her backstory it would have been so terrible for her to have witnessed. Regardless we can tell at this point that one of the main reasons she doesn’t seem as affected as Aqua is simply because she believes Gorou is still alive and well at the hospital as a doctor considering the conversation with Kana last season. Meanwhile Aqua feels like he has nothing.
Not gonna lie, I'm a sucker for moments like this when the male protagonist finally confides to someone the secret he has been carrying for years. And they accept him 💙
12:00 Yeah, Akane is far too clever to say directly to Aqua that she figured it all out. I feel like she knows Aqua the best of anyone, besides sorta Director Taishi. I mean, her whole thing iz to break down "characters" to understand how they think. I think that, she would have figured it 9ut somehow eventually, even without the panic attack explaining by Taishi.
22:46 This episode actually tips me more into the disliking Kana side, than liking her but supporting Akane. This wretched attitude and behavior just irritates me the more I see it. Plus, I'm losing track of what she actually does for Aqua in his life besides some acting advice and working hard with his sister.
24:01 Don't worry, we will soon learn about Kana and Akane's backstory. As well as why Kana has a “stronger obsession with acting itself” (prepare tissues 🤧).
my reaction to episode 6 will be up later tonight!!! :')

gyattt ??? damm ur new hair ??? look fresh af. . . . .
the last scene for episode 4 DOES have significance, although it doesn't really say anything for anime only. Diving into it too much is spoilers
24:01 Don't worry, we will soon learn about Kana and Akane's backstory. As well as why Kana has a “stronger obsession with acting itself” (prepare tissues 🤧).
You look so beautiful today
