My brother and I camped out there about 7 years ago when on our way back from a month long motorcycle tour through Namibia. The road between Alexander bay and there was the worst I have ever experianced on a bike. Corrugations were so deep from the mining trucks it was like riding whoops for 200km straight. Damn good memories! Glad this popped up in my feed. Cheers boet

Sounds like one awesome trip! Still the same story though. We had to backtrack towards the N7 to get to Strandfontein from there. Need a 4x4 to drive the coastal road.
