Congrats on the pool! There's this saying "Any man can be a father, takes a great man to be a Dad." Happy Dad's day Tom. And Happy Dad's Day to all the other Homeskoolin Dads out there being the best they can be one day at a time. It's not an easy task, but an easy decision. I'll raise a beer to that!
Congrats on the new digs and Happy Fathers Day Tom! I know you lost your dad at an early age but I bet he is very proud of you the way you cherish your boys and the relationship you have with them. Being a good dad isn’t easy… it requires patience and hard work…and a ton of love and you seem to provide them all!

To be totally fair Peter was a killer guitar tech even when he lived here in Hungary. I always got my guitars back 300% improved after just a couple of days. (Sometimes maybe just hours) But I believe if uncle Larry says so that he improved even further there in music city. Now you stole him from us. :D

Just a suggestion from an old man and dad: never, never let your guard down with safety around that pool. Far too many young and old folks have died from carelessness around pools, particularly with regard to electrical stuff, and I know you're a very electrical guy!

I'm one of those weirdos that listens mostly to the players and I've doing that since high school, being raised not far from Nashville - for many years my very favorite city. My, how it's grown since my days in the 60s.

Yea. I'll say. And I only got 22 months before my child was ripped from my existence. Why? How? Her mother was texting and driving and wrecked. Last time I saw my child was the day of the funeral. 10 yrs ago.

That’s cool that the house and the pool deal worked out. Your boys are fortunate and blessed to have two parents that love them. Kids are the best. Happy Father’s Day Tom! My dad built our in-ground pool with a couple of his buddies 60 years ago when I was just 2 years old. That’s when it got used the most when us kids were younger and by their grandchildren. I’m the one maintaining it and keeping it going now. They are a lot of work but we had many picnic pool parties over the years, and many cherished memories. A home with an in-ground pool is a great investment when you have young kids and teenagers because that’s when they enjoy it the most. Have a great time with your boys in the pool and keep making those cherished memories, and good luck to you in your new home!

Hey Uncle Larry, Happy Fathers day. I watched a program with Richard Hawley last night and he was speaking about his guitars. He's lucky enough to have Duane Eddy's guitar amongst others and he was saying he believes that guitars, acoustics in particular, go to sleep when not played for a while and that they wait to be woken up and played. Thought it was a lovely way to describe the spirits of instruments not played. Cap doffed as always and wishing you well.

Even for this 45 year old lifer from Buffalo, I keep pounding away because I too am a late bloomer! My fiancée is 30, blows my mind at this time of my life I may be a father and that gets me more excited than any guitar related goal, well almost 🤣👏💯🎯🎸♾️
I've had many Pre CBS and CBS Strats and still have a few. I have a 71 that has been my absolute fav of all time. It's on its 4th or 5th re-fret, probably 3000-4000 gigs, over 30 years. Each time I've had it refretted, the new frets just bring it back to life. It seems to make everything sound and play better. I'm retired now but I used to play very hard and use heavy strings. Now it has 9-42, arthritis set in. I doubt it will ever need another refret.
