Toby, Mikey: I follow a number of people on UA-cam both here in the U.S. as well as in the U.K. You guys are the only ones who consistently reply to my comments/questions and I want to express my sincere gratitude for that kindness. I do so appreciate your taking the time and trouble. All the best and happy hunting from Texas.
That is incredibly kind of you to say! Thank you so much. We honestly do appreciate every view and comment so much, and love being able to chat more openly here! Appreciate it and have a great day!
I'm genuinely looking forward to you announcing you've found your dream home ❤, but I'll be gutted for these house viewings to end. I'm loving these episodes so much 😂😊, thanks for sharing xx
Toby and Mikey, I've watched your journey for a few years now and love your content - thank you for this vlog , you honestly made me laugh out loud when you were describing your worst viewing ever - a lovely way to start my day! Good luck with your search :)
I love these vlogs guys, they’re so interesting and you’re both so determined to find your dream home 😊 when I’m looking for a new home I’m taking you both with me for advice and inspiration 😊
Loved this video on so many levels. Firstly, it's great to have a nose around places and hear your views; it's like we are househunting with you, so thank you for sharing. Secondly, it's so exciting listening to you two planning ahead for fatherhood,! I love the thought you're putting into your next home. Thirdly, Toby, I can hear a lovely singing voice coming through! And last but not least, it's lovely to watch and hear you grow in confidence Mikey. Much love to both of you xx
This video has confirmed my decision, made long ago, to stay where I am and focus on improvements rather than an alternative space! Thank you for the video. Have a fabulous week!
Take a look in Beckenham! Beckenham Junction has very good transport links, 20 minutes on a train to Victoria, the High Street is nice with restaurants and cafés, large M&S and Waitrose, there are a lot of parks and green spaces around (many golf courses too) and excellent schools (to the future-proof point). I'm not from the UK, lived in Clapham before moving to Beckenham with my partner who's from the area, I dreaded the suburban life and thought I would have to sacrifice a lot of the lively lifestyle I had in Clapham but it wasn't all that and I really love the area now. We moved in together weeks before the first lockdown and was utterly bliss to spend the pandemic in a nice area. Lots of love and good luck!
Are you sure a new build is for you? Most have little character but I’m sure you could add that with your skills. I think you might really like Epping Forest area
Definitely East Dulwich , great vibe on the weekends, easy acess into central London, great for couples and families. I am from Upper Norwood, lived there for 42 years, travel into London is not bad, plenty of options. The second house used to be my cut through walking back from school, those houses are over priced, better off with an older build for the money.
Oh dear what a time you had. I’m not really a fan off contemporary & new builds, however the ones you viewed looked rather stunning. The mews house looked pretty . Keep hunting fella & when you find the right one you’ll know it.
Not a good time with those viewings then!! Nothing worse. House viewings are always complex with tenants, very embarrassing which takes away the true potential of a property. Luckily you guys can see through that. Love your viewings which are always loaded with info. Thanks for sharing xx
Hello guys!!!Love your vlogs, today I laughed a lot with the awkward situation that you"ve been in with this visit. And I am wondering,I see post on line house for sale which are dirty, cluttered, and they are truing to sellby telling you don't oay attention to the clutter they are moving out ..😂😂😂how on earth you are going to see the possibilities of allure, bad marketing
It was surprising-but we also understand that it could have just been circumstances on the day so definitely don’t hold a grudge! Also, the houses weren’t right for us thankfully! 😅❤
Hi guys.. thx for the video. Can you share techniques or tips about how you guys do to take care of your skin? Your skin looks really perfect. I’m jealous. Take care. Narnniez
We have actually been filming a video this week about skin care / cosmetic treatments we get done as we get asked this a lot! It'll be going live in the next few weeks I believe! xx
The Upper Norwood homes looked gorgeous, but you are right to consider too far out of central London. Only being honest - I woukd nit nuy inthst area at all.
They really were lovely and had a good feel, the agent was great too! Just didn’t feel in the quite right location - but with each one we’re narrowing down what we want! X
🌴🌞🌴🌞❤️❤️❤️🌞🌴🌞🌴 *Guys, If you're next video with surprise info is that you purchased a new home please stop reading immediately...* If you are still looking for the home you might want to raise kids in...and/or you're forever home. I would ask you to consider checking demographics in the UK for the average length of homeownership. The average mortgage in the US is 30 years but the average length people own an individual home tops out at about 12.3 years. Circumstances change! One of you might get an outstanding job offer elsewhere, one that you both agree you can't pass up. A sick child that needs to be near a specific type of medical facility can cause a change of location for the parents. A gifted child may cause parents to move near a great training facility or educational institution. As adults and growing older what you want at your current age may not be what you want in 10 years. All I'm trying to say is please consider realistically just how long you might actually be in the house you're investing in. I understand in the UK the average used to be 25-year mortgages, but now with the cost of UK housing, people are getting 40 your mortgages. I also see 2- 5 year mortgages options. If the demographics are deep enough and you can look at homeownership among young gay married couples that would be even better and more useful to you. I am enjoying all your videos and send much love your way with whatever you choose.
@ “Nice” is a one-syllable adjective ; the correct comparative is “nicer” ; saying “more nicer” , combines both forms incorrectly. In informal speech “more nicer” is sometimes used - but it is grammatically incorrect in standard English .
@@RussellAlami we didn’t say “more nicer”. We say “much nicer”, which is correct English. “much nicer" is correct and usable in written English. You can use it to compare two things that are both nice, but one is nicer than the other. For example: "The new house is much nicer than the old one!".
