I’ve done that hike twice and it is one of my absolute favorites! We turned around at the same point you did, basically at Kæfufoss. I also loved Skálabrekkufoss the best!

Awesome! 🙌🏻 yeah it’s such a great day hike and I’m surprised more people don’t do it. Can’t wait to go back and do the whole thing one day though
