I've made achy about 22 attempts on Watcher starting on Ascension 0, I've made it to A7 so far and I'm really really liking this character! Sweet rares and interesting strategies with her. Props to the devs.
Not upgrading the cut through fate in the heart fight is pretty blasphemous.
Its such a shame the twitch chat isnt truly a hivemind, otherwise they'd realize that each and every one of them has asked the SAME QUESTION

This is not something unique to twitch chat. Social media as a whole has turned humanity into a hive mind/ echo chamber that all parrot the same shit regardless of if it’s incorrect or if it was already a question that was answered.

"Pellets are less good on Watcher than on the other classes"... Has Jorbs never had Duality and Orange Pellets together? You just end turn 2 with like ten permanent dexterity in every fight without having to build specifically for it or play low-tempo cards like Fasting.
That's a pretty specific combo, don't you think?
Just orange pellets+ fasting is also very good.
I think he refers to the other's uses and easy triggering of orange pellets:
• Ironclad can stack powers in his deck by using dual wield, and doing that with berserk is quite useful;
• Defect has a power generator (creative a.i.) and white noise+ I just perfect for that;
• Silent earns a lot from it with a wraith form.
I don't know a lot about the game and watcher, but those are the reasons I see.
@@pedrogazarini7992 Outside of purging standard statuses, Pellet combos tend to be fairly specific for others as well.
IDK if this has been said before, I would bet it has. But what if Upgrading Flurry of Blows started it in the discard pile?
Can I consistently go for divinity synergies? I feel like I never want divinity synergies unless I highroll really hard like you did here. I usually just go for wrath-calm builds. Currently finished A14 with watcher.
He mentions in spirside chat wrath is enough to win, and my experience matches. I don't think you can consistently go for divine synergies.
Though if you get offered the right cards it can be a really effective way to win but don't rely on it

It seems to me that playing protect at 25:27 was clearly a misplay. Brilliance - smite - smite on the bird attacking for 14 deals 22 damage and blocks for 14, then miracle - defend increases that to 20 block for the turn, so you take 4 less damage, deal 4 more, and one of the birds is grounded next turn. I don't see any difference in relic counters or ability to cycle through the deck, so I was pretty surprised you assumed protect had to be played. Also sorry for the backseating!
You need four attacks to ground the bird tho
High ascension makes it so the birds have to be hit 4 times to be grounded. If this was a lower ascension then that probably would have been the play

@@Jorbs I just hope it dies down to where I can open up a news site and not have to scroll down two to three screens to hear about anything else. At the very least, I hope when I'm sick with it (there's only so much even the clerical staff at a clinic can do), I'll be able to watch streams and not be reminded of why I feel like shit :D
