No need for a ladder with this baby! In this short video I demonstrate the EGO 56v Multi-head pole saw with three - 3 foot attachments. My reach in total is about 25 feet!
I have been thinking for years about pruning this huge tree, but loathed the idea of doing it on a ladder. Nothing beats cutting these branches with your feet planted firmly on the ground!

Tell me you know nothing about tree work without telling me you know nothing about tree work. Ladders are extremely dangerous and every time i see someone using one because "It's not worth paying someone" is an idiot

I would think it would be safer than a ladder _if_ your arms are strong enough to handle the extra weight.

Now the real cheap way to do this would be to figure out how to hook up a cheap pole and come up with some linkage to turn the the saw on once you get it into position.

Might try this, too. Have an Atlas 40V. Think I ruined it. But if I buy another, I’ll still have an extra extension. That extension, the one from the trimmer and a new pole saw, I guess, if the voltage is OK, although the weight will entirely suck…

Justin I bet it does. I would use v cuts with that many extension. Also cut a little from the bottom. Then go top side with v cuts. Getting it stuck up there would suck. You can buy chain rope. Manual pole saws. Or just hire someone. Climbing isn't hard it's the fall.
