There's something I find endlessly hilarious in this ending, being the implication that Hero and Medea were childhood friends and were pretty well in love until this big tiddy redhead mage shows up and completely steals him away from her while she's trapped as a horse and can't do anything about it.
Everyone's focused on the marriage, and I'm just sitting here thinking "Who names their kid Bangerz?"
This ending is nice, but I think I still prefer crashing Charmless' wedding and marrying his bride in front of him, lol.
When I played this game the first time, I wanted to ship Hero and Jessica. I like Medea too, but in my head canon I shipped Hero and Jessica.
I played this game when it came out. This was the ending I hoped for!!

I honestly prefer this ending it just feels... Im not sure. i guess its because over time you just communicate with jessica more and feel just more of a connection.
I really like this. Especially the conversation with Medea, it's so nice to see a friendly break off.

That was awesome! When she called him hubby. That was on point...way better than the Medea ending.
Medea and the hero were childhood friends... unfortunately that's the only thing going for them. Japan seems to have this weird childhood love fetish, this is the same exact reason they locked the marriage in DQXI.
Still a fan of the Hero/Medea pairing, but I still approve of the added option to marry Jessica.
I like how they act like guards can handle him lol after he fought a demon lord also i wish they would of made a game of where the actual effects of your accomplishments would have in game consequences
