Thanks JR, I think it would have been amazing to fly in one but terrifying to see a squadron bearing down on your position. It will be the last campaign mission next, a few dogfight games follow and then it's done. I intend to do a world war 2 sniper game and I'm looking for another wartime flight simulator game. =)
Nice bit of flying, a squadron of B17s flying in had to have been a very ominous feeling, they didn't really have target finders, and the nazis had a knack for putting enemy equipment next to civilian areas. Oh, mostly all 50cal guns, except for the front gun was a 30 cal. I look forward to the last episode.
Hi mate, I do love it and the whole wartime experience, have been looking at an old sniper game to do when Angels is finished. Thanks and c u later. STMF. :)
The guns in the turrets of any bomber were almost always .30 caliber. I think that some B-17s were fitted with .50 caliber machine guns for whatever reason and some other bombers were occasionally fitted with the .50 cals.
Great upload, thanks again for the series! I know you enjoy this game as much as we enjoy watching it! Take care.

Reading books upon books upon books about aviation, planes, weapons, wars, etc. really helps out ;)
Cripes -- that poor plane was smoking more than Cheech & Chong!
You’re a beast, plane & simple =)
