disclaimer: this video is just a meme aimed at nfs unbound compared to how older racing titles were built different back in the day, so please don't take it seriously, as we all know ps2 EA games were all legendary.
I also mentioned EA instead of criterion/blackbox, since they've both been making legendary games and would've been way better if ea didn't tell them to release them in a way, as they wished for themselves.

The Midnight club saga is one of the most intense racing games that I have ever played. One mistake and not only you, but also the AI enemies can get far behind too. In need for speed the game has to rubber band your enemies to your back so you don't miss em too much :(
oh yea, also car choice matters in mc2
for example against dice it's easier to defeat him with citi turbo than monstruo

Sadly, Rockstar Games is using the Midnight Club fanbase to sell Sharkcards in GTA Online. Every time there's a new update everyone immediately spends real money to buy, customise and race all the new cars as well as buy garages for them because trying to buy them normally is too much of a grind, to the point where it would be like having a 2nd job. Why else do you think there have been so many car themed updates (Import/Export, Low riders, Los Santos Tuners etc)?

Compared to its predecessor, Midnight Club II was much faster. Faster acceleration, faster launches, higher top speeds. Even the Cocotte you start the game with is faster than the NY taxi.
