    Those rolling baskets are the cats ass behind the disk , that's what I want to do to my corn stalks in the fall .

      It makes a disc a much better tool.

      Oh yeah they work great, this was the first year running them for us also.

    I must say I really enjoy seeing that crazy train out in the fields!! Seems to (I know nothing) be doing a great job though! The spacing on the duals for planting reasons vs the 4650 with sandwiches duals? Those Deeres are SWEET!! Looks like everything went well with the beans!! That pigweed sure is invasive !! Thank you guys for bringing us along, look forward to seeing what's next!! 😁😁😁👍👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🚜🚜

      @DylanJoyceFarms  Рік тому +2

      Believe or not both of those tractors are on the same spacing. Only difference is the 4650 is running Firestone Radial Deep Treads vs. Firestone 23 degree bias ply tires on the planting tractor.

    I used a product this year call Sterling Blue on pigweeds, it's around 45 dollars a gallon/ 1.5 pints per acre
    I had some pretty big pigweeds in places some problems 12 inches tall and it smoked there ass to the ground, sprayed in the morning that afternoon they were already wilting!!

    • @DylanJoyceFarms
      @DylanJoyceFarms  Рік тому +1

      30 day plant back to soybeans on Sterling Blue if you are not planting Xtend soybeans. We are using Enlist.

    • @daviddixon3800
      @daviddixon3800 Рік тому

      Sterling blue is good for early burn down but like you say it is a wait time to plant. I spray my bean ground with it the same time I do my corn ground and it stays pretty clean until I get ready to plant

    • @lukedesselle2491
      @lukedesselle2491 Рік тому

      @DylanJoyceFarms I sprayed Sterling Blue over the top of my Soybeans, there not Xtend only Dicamba safened

      @DylanJoyceFarms  Рік тому

      @@lukedesselle2491 I would like to know what brand and variety because this is the first I've heard of a soybean that will tolerate dicamba that isn't XTEND.

    Does it make it pull much harder?

    • @DylanJoyceFarms
      @DylanJoyceFarms  Рік тому

      Yes, it pulls harder and burns more fuel, but it has cut out a second tillage pass for us.

  • @jasonrathgeber5999
    @jasonrathgeber5999 Рік тому

    You guys could really use 8440 or 8450 make tillage a bit easier save some hours on the other tractors

  • @danmorgan8745

    You need a 4960

    • @daviddixon3800
      @daviddixon3800 Рік тому

      4960 would be a good tractor but it will cost as much as the 8000 series and when you get older you will appreciate the nicer cab
