I thought that I had done something against the Holy Spirit that had made him depart from me. And I really thought I deserved it, not knowing that it was just the enemy putting fake thoughts, words and feelings in my mind. I ended up thinking one day, 'God doesn't actually love me, I deserve all this', and there was something in my spirit that had just said "That isn't true" and it made me cry. I knew that the Holy Spirit of God had not left me nor will he ever. All praise and glory belongs to GOD, who through his son the prince of PEACE has offered us salvation! Amen! 😄
I think we are in the same situation. If the Holy Spirit is not in you, why God shows His miracles and wonders? Why still God blesses you? Why you're still experiencing His love? Why you still have conviction? And why still God letting you think that He is real? Why? If you really blaspheme the spirit, why there are thoughts that makes you remember how great is our God?

Ali, trust in Christ today. Jesus said, "'I have not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance." (Luke 5:32). Are you overwhelmed and grieved by your sin? Turn to Jesus. He said, "All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never cast out." (John 6:37). He will renew our minds (Romans 12:1-3), and He will complete the work He starts in us (Phil 1:6). Most of all, He declares us righteous on the basis of what He has done through faith in Jesus Christ (Rom 3:20-5:10). None of us are righteous on our own (Romans 1:18-3:20). We are all in need of a Savior to forgive us and transform us. When we trust in Christ, He promises to transform us, and He will do it, not all at once, but in His perfect timing (Rom 8:28-30).

Not every thought that runs through your mind is your own. You shouldn't feel guilty if Satan or an evil spirit or whatever you want to call it torments you with corrupt thoughts. Pray that God would free you of those thoughts and give you the strength to refocus on positive things (Phil 4:8). And of course, if you haven't received forgiveness of sins, then please look at Acts 2:38.

I have anxiety, insomnia, and intrusive thoughts on the daily; and I always break down crying out to God to have mercy on me and forgive me because these intrusive thoughts come into my head that aren’t mine. These thoughts frustrate me and create so much fear in my spirit because I know It’s terribly wrong, and I keep getting convinced that God won’t forgive me. Even though I don’t act on them, I try to distract myself from them, but they don’t seem to be going away. I’m just praying that I’ll get through this season, and Father will forgive me.

I was reading Mark 3 and the unforgivable sin was mentioned, and it freaked me out because my mind just started swearing at the Holy Spirit for no reason and it freaked me out. I love the Lord and my goal is trying to put him first every day. God is good always and if you ask sincerely, he will forgive you, as he has with me.

Jacko Jew Jr R I used to struggle with lust and perverted thoughts but when i told God to help me and started filling myself with his word, the thoughts start to fade away, there are pop ups sometimes but I cast them down in Jesus name. He can help you too.
Lust is not a sin. A sin is when you do deliberate unnecessary harm to others, and lust doesn't do that. It is a natural animal instinct that causes our species to mate and have children. If there was no lust to drive us to have sex, we wouldn't be so fruitful.
The fact that we're even concerned that we did such a thing tells a great story. Shows some type of reverence or Godly fear there. May God give us more Grace to live right.

So a true Christian is someone who is willing to follow Christ to the fullest. When you trust in Jesus, and believe God will be there with you in every single situation, from your good times to your bad, even when you sin, his spirit is with you which is why you would feel guilty after you sin, the Holy Spirit is grieving because you sin, and the grief makes you guilty and guilt is good when it leads you to repentance. When you follow Christ you basically deny yourself, meaning you deny your fleshly desires and desire gods plan for you above everything else, a true Christian desires to have an intimate deep relationship with Jesus our lord and savior. You seek him with all you heart soul and mind, and I promise you, you will find him, and that promise isn't jus from me, it's from the almighty God himself. Just keep striving to get closer to him and learn more about him, and one day you'll realize that Jesus is the only way to the our father God in heaven. Can our thoughts be Forgiven too?! What if your mind hasn't been cleansed I noticed when I read the Bible my mind wonders... and it's hard for me to put a vision in my mind of the Bible about what's happening so Can God understand that I'm trying to read it but that my mind wonders when I read it.
Every thought is not your own. The brain will bring up about every possible scenario and then your mind will focus on the ones that get your attention which usually are negative because you're afraid of them. Or they usually will be the opposite of what you really think. We are going to be judged by what we really think, every scenario that is possible will go through our minds. At least the ones we are conscious of or have time to think of. Your mind is going to wander more if you're afraid of it wandering.

This sin was in context with the unsaved men in the Pharisees who told and said out loud that the miracles Jesus did was from an unclean spirit. That is the sin you are referring to. Its not saying something bad from your mouth or anything now days. Its looking at Jesus while he was on the earth and saying he has an unclean spirit. This is one of the most misunderstood sins in the whole bible and scares people to death who think they committed it. Luckily Robert Breaker has a video on it which explains this. You can't commit this sin now days as Jesus is not on the earth

I've felt like Esau before too, but those moments are short and temporary. Fearing the wrath of God is a good thing because we acknowledge how just and mighty He is, but as Christians we should have peace of mind knowing that Christ died for our sins. If you have another situation in the future where repenting seems hard, pray and ask God to help you repent (Matthew 7:11). The LORD will give GOOD gifts, meaning that he will help you if you want to repent. He has the power to soften hearts, don't underestimate the power of the LORD of Israel. @classyt20f7 To answer your first question, He absolutely can soften the most hardened heart, regardless of who it is. Just look at a man who used to kill Christians, and his extremely hardened heart was softened by the great grace of God. His name was Paul by the way, the great apostle who would go on to write the majority of the new testament. As for that "pull" that you feel, that is the flesh waging war against the Spirit (Read Romans 7 and 8). If you feel a genuine remorse for your sin, that is the Spirit of God calling you to repentance. That is an awesome and encouraging sign which we should thank God for because he very well could allow us to continue in our sin. With that said, as sinners, we will sin many times in our life. Many times, we will look back and ask ourselves why we did it. But instead of dwelling on our past in wordly remorse, acknowledge that it was a mistake and tell yourself to live for God from now on (Phillipians 3:13-14). @@xPyroClanHDx I'm afraid through our own strength we would never be able to do such a thing. Acts 19:15 is a perfect example. The Spirit is the one who protects us, but by our own authority we don't stand a chance against Satan, I would recommend praying and pleading with God to relieve that pressure from you because He does listen to His children.
Ever since I found out about blaspheming the Holy Spirit, a thought that I don’t want, or seems like I don’t have much control over comes up inside of my mind and tries to blaspheme the Holy Spirit. And with all that I am I don’t want it there. I hate it. I love God with everything that I am, and I keep repenting from it. I have my cross in hand ready to crucify the thought and submit it to God every time it comes, but it seems like I don’t stop it fast enough sometimes. Last night I convinced myself that God didn’t want me anymore and that he left, and when I see him he’ll say, “For I never knew you. Depart from me you worker of iniquity!” but I feel like that’s the enemy at work. I cried myself to sleep thinking I wouldn’t be able to bow at the feet of Jesus anymore. In fact, it’s hard not to cry while writing this. And the whole time on my way to sleep I kept hearing blaring the same thing blaring in my head over and over, “YOU’RE DONE! IT’S OVER! YOU CAN’T EXPECT FORGIVENESS. YOU DID THE ONE THING YOU COULDN’T DO! IT’S PLAINLY WRITTEN IN THE BIBLE! YOU. ARE. DONE!” I’ve experienced God multiple times in my life. I’ve had divine intimate moments with him, so I know that without a doubt he has been with me. And if he’s been with me before this happened, then he knew it would and still decided to take residency in me... I don’t think he would leave because of it now, but I feel so ashamed and unsure. I was 21 at the moment and I thought God wouldn’t forgive me because those thoughts were there everyday for months. God forgave me and I’m sure about that and he will forgive you to because he knows your heart. He wants to forgive us. The devil can but thoughts in our head like he has done to you and me. He forgives because his Mercy is great.

I suffer from OCD. I somehow have thoughts about hurting the Holy Spirit and other bad words. I do my best not to say those words. My OCD also questions and brings up old things. I believe I am forgiven but I just want to be prayed for that these OCD attacks I will be under control. Also, I have been feeling a little depressed lately. But I'm getting help. God bless you.
I struggled with the same. You have to call upon Jesus for help!! Seek Jesus…! And I struggle with seeking Jesus, but tell Him if you struggle with seeking Him. THEN ask for help with your OCD because I know religious OCD is VERY dangerous!!
I don't know why I have this OCD called scrupulosity.. I know when I was younger, I went to that alter many times I am saved I know I said by my mouth and heart that Jesus is Lord and he raised was raised from the dead. Still I have seen these thoughts how do you know? Are you sure? It's all baloney. I have thoughts screaming at me stating I committed the unpardonable sin. I mean Jesus gives everybody a whole lifetime to ask him to be your lord and savior. If you don't confess you're done for. They was a person with OCD who really believed he sold your soul to the devil. I had my head slammed to a concrete wall by high school bullies at the age of 14. Did getting these traumatic head injuries (TBIs) might've caused my OCD? OCD can trick your mind or it could be the devil or it could be in your mind. I don't know. I just don't like going through this. It's like a game in your mind. I just keep praying no matter how scary it gets.

Person on Belief that said since I admitted Jesus as my lord and savior, I can NEVER and never will blaspheme the Holy Spirit. Sounds good, but OCD can never be cured. It's a mental illness. I do have triggers, and there are times my brain says, "How do you know?" "Can you prove it?" " You can ask a million times and got might not forgive you!" My brain goes over and over the same sentences. I have to live with this knowing I will still have the same intrusive thoughts and ruiminations in the near future. I keep calling these thoughts as lies or ignore them. I went down to the alter many times and my brain questions everything. There are times I feel like I am really feeling bad, but I still pray. and my brain says, "Why are you doing that?"

Read this promise from God Psalms 16:7-11 NKJV I will bless the Lord who has given me counsel; My heart also instructs me in the night seasons. I have set the Lord always before me; Because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved. Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices; My flesh also will rest in hope. For You will not leave my soul in Sheol, Nor will You allow Your Holy One to see corruption. You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore. I truly believe God is healing me fully from OCD. I still get a bit of intrusive thoughts. But my hope is in the fact that He heals. If he fully heals me, may I testify of His glory. If He doesn't Heal me, may I testify of His glory!! I had thought I had committed this terrible sin a month ago, I came to my mentor and was in tears because I thought I was unforgiven. Everytime I read the bible I’d say to my self “F” the Holy Trinity and each time would be so afraid and everytime I wasn’t sure why I kept saying it. He-my mentor- explained that one first has to be baptized, then after being baptized then has to be baptized by the Holy Spirit then after knowing God’s true love and truly knowing God you blaspheme against Him. Thats blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. I hope I helped someone who was in my shoes because I know how it is to deal with all of this.

When the thoughts are playing out in your head yet your entire will and intent is to avoid doing that, you have not blasphemed Him. It's Satan planting that voice in your head. The very fact that you are against the idea of that voice playing out in your mind is evidence that it's not you pronouncing it

Those are the Devils thoughts trying to get in you, those thoughts are not your own, the very fact that you care and are worried about whether you committed this sin, means you actually haven't done this sin, the devil is trying to accuse you of a lie that you never did, that why is called the accuser, he try's to put his thoughts in you to make you believe they are your thoughts, but you can rest assured that it's not your thoughts by the very facts that you are scared you sinned against God, or you feel guilty for doing this. You are either a born again child of God been made alive spiritually or you are still dead and remain an enemy of God. I have to disagree with Piper’s interpretation of Hebrews 12. Esau wasn’t crying because he couldn’t repent of his sin, he was crying because he lost his blessing and couldn’t change what he did. The original account in Genesis proves this: 34 As soon as Esau heard the words of his father, he cried out with an exceedingly great and bitter cry and said to his father, "Bless me, even me also, O my father!" 35 But he said, "Your brother came deceitfully, and he has taken away your blessing." 36 Esau said, "Is he not rightly named Jacob? For he has cheated me these two times. He took away my birthright, and behold, now he has taken away my blessing." Then he said, "Have you not reserved a blessing for me?" - Genesis 27:34-36 All Esau wanted was the EARTHLY BLESSING that was taken from him, not God. He never even considered his error, he just blamed it on Jacob. That’s why he’s considered unrepentant. To say that he was crying because he couldn’t repent is like saying he was willing to turn to God but couldn’t, which is contradictory. It also doesn’t match up with Esau as a character. You’re talking me that Esau lived his whole life seeking after worldly things and, then gave up his blessing, then wanted to repent but couldn’t? I’ve had a voice in my mind saying blasphemy to God then I searched somthing up and it said blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is not forgiven so then the voice kept saying that once I figured that out I felt so awful I thought I was going to hell after this video I felt so happy. The devil has been tempting me so much before I was reading my Bible then I started doing a long devotion every night and my life changed my scary thoughts dint scare me anymore because I knew God was there. God is so good. He’s done so much for us yet we still sin but he loves us and forgives us. Don’t forget God will never forsake you! He loves you so much I’m proud to be a Christian are you?
I fear I might have committed this unforgivable sin. I was having intrusive thoughts on committing Blasphemy and I feel like I said words about hating the holy Spirit but I shut myself up quickly halfway and started saying no it's not true you love Jesus and God. Please pray for me, there has been a voice in my head that constantly blasphemes God. I’m a believer in Jesus and believe He died for me so that I may have eternal life. I’ve had a huge desire to share the gospel and to turn away from certain sins in my life, but ever since I’ve had this changed mindset, trying to get into the word of God and pursuing him, there’s a voice that constantly pops up in my head and harasses me and also blasphemes God. I don’t know if it’s a evil spirit or my flesh that is the source of that voice. Blaspheming the holy spirit is when you reject the call to come and give your life to Jesus Christ and after you have done that over and over again you may Harden your heart and never have another chance that's what blaspheming the holy spirit means.

Only a person who has received the Holy Spirit can even commit this sin. So hopefully, it is extremely rare.

I hope you find confidence and joy and love in your life. Anytime bad thoughts come up try your hardest to think of 3 good things in your life. That would be my advise. Also try and speak positive things like I am awesome! I am confident! I trust God! At first it might be difficult but keep on trying to do those things and you can start feeling better. Hebrews 10:26-29 also makes clear how this sin works. Wilful- hard-hearted move of completely choosing to never repent again and walk away from a Godly life. Willingly- every sin is committed willingly, but they’re committed in moments of weakness and desperation, and a Christian committing these sins will always be lead to repentance. Also just to give y’all some peace of mind, if you find yourself having thoughts against the Holy Spirit, and your immediate response is one of shock and/or fear. That wasn’t your voice, and God knows that. It’s not just the sin itself but the root in which it’s committed.

david jerimiah explained this much more clearly than this video. but the bottom line is this.the only ones that CAN be guilty of the unforgivable sin were those people who- at the actual time Jesus was alive-blasphemed Jesus. after he was crucified it is no longer possible to even commit this sin. as long you accepted Christ as youe savior after his crucifixtion your not able to commit a sin that God himself cannot forgive.

I also went through that with bad thoughts about the holy spirit.it is demon oppression that is trying to get you to say stupid or evil thoughts about the holy spirit, but dont worry because jesus will finish the work that he started That is a promise.there is no condemnation for those that are in christ all your sins have been forgiven past present and future.
We have two voices to fight against our flesh and the serpent the serpent sends those thoughts into your mind and they even know when you feed into them and try to make you feel and believe they’re of your own when they’re not. I had evil thoughts into my mind about Jesus work and miracles I started to cry and toss and turn all night and felt so away from God and Jesus and that’s how I knew like hey these aren’t from me if they were from the heart I wouldn’t care that I messed up and cared to feel so away and condemned by God and Jesus. I had felt guilty and bad and didn’t want those thoughts in my head I kept trying to fight them in my head but that’s was me feeding into them so instead I started pray and just told me self hey these thoughts aren’t of me and tried to focus my mind on other things

Here is something to ponder: You don't need to believe in Biblical inerrancy to be Christian. Maybe "unpardonable sin" is an error and doesn't exist. The core of Christianity is faith in forgiveness and blissful afterlife, and loving kindness towards others. Try to do as much good for as many people as possible for as long as possible, and don't worry about your past actions. The main idea of Pauline, Biblical Christianity, as opposed to say, gnostic Christianity, is that salvation is a free gift that makes people so happy they try to do as much good as possible. Helpful, loving actions towards others are evidence that a person has been saved by divine grace through faith.

I’m a believer to Jesus Christ when I was small, first I thought he was man(I’m sorry I was little) but later I learned he was the son of God and I know he always exists but then year later I betrayed God to be famous and I totally regret it 😢😣😔 I hope God forgive me like he did to Peter and I didn’t deny the Holy Spirit witness I hate myself I wish I wasn’t selfish. I feeling hate,angry and depression in the past instead of praying God to help me and I thought God won’t help me a little (I don’t remember that)😩 I’m a mistake I wish God didn’t create me. I truly repent (I learned that word in January 2020) and accept One is only son Jesus Christ as my lord and savior amen 🙏🏻 that I never knew and didn’t remember U know what weird? What you need to do is simple!! Confess your fleshly desires to God and others in the church. Then God will remove that temptation. You will be free!

No that is not blasphemy, In Acts it says he that curses the son of man which is Jesus can be forgiven. God was Jesus Christ in the flesh who came and died for our sins so we can be forgiven. John 3:16 “For God so loved the world he gave his only begotten son, whosoever believeth In him will not perish but have everlasting life. Jesus says in the Bible “The Father and I are one” John 14:6 Jesus says unto them “I am the way, the truth and the life no one comes to the father but through me”. I used to think the same thing and I got saved a month ago Aug 26th 2019. Bible says we only need a grain of faith, faith the size of a mustard seed. Believe in that God was Jesus Christ in the flesh, he died for your sins so u can be forgiven, and he rose from the dead on the 3rd day and ask god to save you and ask for forgiveness and you will be saved. If you are actively working against God, this is blasphemy against the holy spirit. If you are seeking forgiveness and believe in God then odds are you have not committed this sin. People think way too hard on this. A blasphemer of the holy spirit will not be forgiven because they find no power in his works. This is why it says there is no forgiveness, it is a state of Sin and mind rather than a sin itself. These blasphemers do not believe in the Son of God because their minds have become reprobate, they have hardened their hearts and seared their conscience. I am scared because last night i had read Matthew 12:31-32 and after when i fell for sleep my mind started to think negatively and I couldn't control it and for one point for no reason it blasphemed the holy spirit and i didn't mean it nor want it because i love god. A little while ago I committed a sin willfully and I was very convicted during that time but i still did it. Now I don’t really feel the Holy Spirit as much as I used to. I know that this means I went on sinning after knowing the truth but does there still remain a sacrifice for my sins? How can I feel the Holy Spirit again? The constant joy of the LORD?

All false. BLAsphemy against The Holy Spirit cannot happen today, Jesus refered to the sin of the pharisees who has hardended their hearts so much, that they would reach a point of no repetance. @@stephaniebarnes2119 You do not have to worry if you have committed blasphemy against the Spirit because the fact that you worry about this sin shows that the Spirit is still striving with you and is still convicting you of sin which means He has not left you. And I am not convinced that the Spirit will leave a person who has truly believed in Jesus and repented of sin because Ephesians tells us we have been sealed until the day of redemption with the Spirit see Ephesians 1:13 and 4:30. I even felt convicted when saved at 10 but asked my mom and she said you aren’t judged for your sins once saved so I have sinned and never stopped so I guess I never received the Holy Spirit. So I just tasted like that verse in Hebrews then continued sinning I literally blasphemed at 10 and continued my whole life

If you cannot answer that question with a resounding yes then do not be discouraged because there is still hope. God is still drawing you to Himself for your salvation! You just have to make the decision and give your life to Jesus. Make Him Lord. Repent of all sin. Turn from the old person and its wicked ways and turn to Christ. After you have done this be baptized into the name of Yahshua (Jesus) for the remission of your sins and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. It is not to late make this decision today.

Unfortunately, obviously yes. I myself have done it. And I recommend not to entertain such evil. The consequences for me were disastrous. I didn't lose my life but I suffered many years of humiliation and lack of confidence. It took a lot of work to gain the confidence back and I'm still recovering from the pain and suffering. I committed that blasphemy under narcissistic abuse. Only God's extraordinary mercy have reconciled me to Himself. I woke up, when I woke up I realized my own biological father had sabotaged my call from the Lord. Pls stay away from blasphemy. Whatever you are going through cry out to God, sing a hymn, find a good local church. God is good, if the Lord was bad He would be a lot worse than the devil. Looking back I'm amazed how I managed to blaspheme God. Some people are dealing with horrific spiritual battle out there, and yes they can end up denying the Lord, murmuring and blaspheming. Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is Never being saved to begin with. Apon hearing the gospel of Jesus Christ we are sent the Holy Spirit. The job of the Holy Spirit is to reveal Spiritual truth of who Christ is (not just what we read and understand, But Spiritual Knowlege of the Son of God). Without this truth we face death alone (unsaved). We as Christians here the gospel the, spirit is sent and instead of going to Prayer and God for interpretation we go to man and a religion of men. In this we Never come to Spiritual truth and in doing this Blaspheme the Spirit by ignoring Him and instead putting faith in man, not God. The Pharisees Jesus was talking to were literally hearing and seeing the Word of God right before their eyes and yet they not only did not see who he was, but by saying that he was of the devil was in essence exactly what we do when we don't listen to Him and judge those who do understand Spiritual things. There is only ONE sin that is unforgiven, NEVER being forgiven in the first place. Because of our lack of Spiritual Knowlege.. Thats It, this is why they were in "danger" of never being forgiven and not "On the spot going tpo Hell". because if they continued to think this way and die without understanding they would not be forgiven seeing that they (as we) are without excuse, having been given the opportunity to believe and listen to the Spirt. but instead, we (as they did, and still do) follow in a religion and physical works and knowledge of men.. He is quite literally explaining How to come to Christ in this verse, and the danger of being carnal minded and following a religion and putting faith in our own understanding or the understanding of other men. Only God reveals Spiritual truth. The importance of prayer and reading your bible for yourself is PARAMOUNT.. Loose the religion for a while until you get a foundation built on God. Trust me, the Spirit is waiting patiently for this.. Watch that bible come to life. Stop putting the bible up as a golden calf. the bible is only there to bear witness of what GOD reveals to you in Spirit. You will NOT understand it spiritually unless God be the one to show you, so don't rely on your pastor or any man for this. Because they cant and you can't hear the Spiritual meaning of it even if they themselves know it and give it too you. I know this because EVERY author of the bible already has this truth written down and yet you can't see it or what they are saying Spiritually, and wont until God opens the eyes and ears..
The Holy Spirit is not to be confused with the idea of humans having their own spirit. The Holy Spirit is a member of the Trinity. The Trinity is God, The Son, and the Holy Spirit. They are not 3 in 1. They are separate beings. If you blaspheme God, God will never even know but Jesus will know and He will forgive you. If you blaspheme The Son, The Son will never even know but Jesus will know and He will forgive you. If you blaspheme Spirit you will NEVER be forgiven. This is not something to play around with. The universe has rules, some of them are final.
I’m severely struggling with intrusive thoughts of the unforgivable sin and blasphemous thoughts. But I love god and try to spread The Good News. I’m afraid that I might go to hell. I don’t know what to do anymore
+Mas Dog007 Christians who suffer from OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder) have fears that they may have committed the unforgivable sin, but the very fact that they are concerned and worried is proof positive that they HAVE NOT AND CANNOT COMMIT THIS SPECIFIC SIN. OCD produces intrusive thoughts. I have had OCD for many years. Many people in the church are very ignorant when it comes to what the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit really is. The unforgivable sin is called the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit which is recorded in the context of Matthew 12:22-32, Mark 3:22-30, and Luke 12:8-10. It is the attributing of the miracles/healings, and exorcisms performed by Jesus to the power of Satan. The Pharisees and the teachers of the law were personal eyewitnesses to the many miracles/healings/exorcisms performed by Jesus which produced no faith in them whatsoever. In spite of all those great things that Jesus did, they still stubbornly would not believe or acknowledge Him as God, but instead falsely accused Jesus of being demon possessed which shows their utterly faulty logic. The faulty logic of the unbelieving Jews of John 10:31-39 is also evident in the fact that despite Jesus performing many great miracles they refused to believe that He was God, but falsely accused Him of being only a "mere man." Again, the unbelieving Jews refused to believe that Jesus is God in John 12:37 despite His many miracles and healings in their presence. Even when Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead, the Pharisees and chief priests still did not believe that Jesus is God, but planned on killing both Jesus and Lazarus - John 11:45 -53, John 12:9-11. The unforgivable sin in the context of Matthew 12:31-32/Mark 3:28-29/Luke 12:10 can only be committed back during Jesus time for it requires Jesus physical presence here on earth performing miracles/healings/exorcisms. The Pharisees and teachers of the law and the unbelieving Jews in John 10:31-39 and John 12:37 came dangerously close to committing this sin if they were to persist in that state of unbelief and dying in that state. Jesus many great miracles/healings/exorcisms, etc were irrefutable proof that He was indeed God, but to willfully choose to disbelieve that and falsely accuse Him of being possessed by Satan is unforgivable. The unforgivable sin can only be committed by the UNSAVED who could care less about God and are totally unconcerned and who die in that very state of mind. Saved Christians cannot commit this sin for how can a saved Christian who is eternally saved at the very moment of faith - John 5:24, Ephesians 1:13, later on commit an eternal sin which leads to eternal condemnation? Impossible. In the present age, if UNSAVED people reject the gospel despite being exposed to it and die in that very state of mind, then they are eternally condemned and have committed the unpardonable sin of unbelief in Christ's free gift of eternal life. In the present age, if saved Christians in this life become discouraged, disillusioned, angry at God, curse God and fall away from the faith and even die in that state of mind, they are still eternally saved because they have already been sealed with the unbreakable seal of the Holy Spirit - Ephesians 1:13 when they first believed. It is Christ that keeps them eternally saved despite their failures because Christ is an unfailing Savior that does not go back on His Word and promise - John 5:24, John 10:28-29, Romans 8:38-39, 1 Corinthians 3:15, 2 Timothy 2:13. They will experience chastisement from God and other unpleasant consequences in this life including sickness when they fall into sin and wickedness and some may have their physical lives terminated by God where they will be taken home prematurely - 1 John 5:16-17, but they are still saved. They will lose out on ETERNAL REWARDS at the Judgment Seat of Christ, but they are still saved as eternal life is a free gift that is not of our works. Only ETERNAL REWARDS are of our works - 1 Corinthians 3:10-15. Self-righteous Calvinists/Lordship Salvationists and Arminian/Lordship Salvationists and all false works based preachers would of course falsely teach that if saved Christians become discouraged, disillusioned, angry at God and curse God and fall away from the faith and even die in that state of mind, that they were either "unsaved to begin with"- (Calvinist interpretation) or "will lose their salvation" and go to hell - (Arminian interpretation). Both views are wrong and both groups will no doubt teach that these Christians have committed the "unpardonable sin" and take Scriptural passages out of context and eisegete such passages like Hebrews 6:4-8, Hebrews 10:26-27, John 15:2,6, Luke 12:42-46, 1 Corinthians 9:27, 2 Corinthians 13:5, Philippians 2:12, etc, in an attempt to prove their point. I know of 2 examples of people who have blasphemed the Holy Spirit and are not saved, namely my father and my wife's uncle. My father died rejecting the gospel despite the fact that my mother tried sharing the gospel with him for many years. He would mock the gospel and mock John 6:53-56 openly and continued to do so after my mother died. The women's fellowship of our former church used to come over to my house for fellowship and Bible study with my mother. However, my father would yell at them and chase them away and they would only come over when my father was not at home. My father was evil and a cruel man of Satan where I hated him for a long time. My wife's uncle rejected the gospel on his deathbed when several Christians tried to share the gospel with him, but he flat out told them to "Get lost!" My father and my wife's uncle are now in hell and face an imminent eternity of regret in the Lake of Fire. They both have committed the unpardonable sin in the context of John 3:18. @@HououinKyouma. No worries. Hey, of course God forgives you! You are not the only one who cursed God with the "F" word. I was on the same boat many years ago. Please allow me to share my personal testimony of God's grace and forgiveness. My mother had cancer 36 years ago, but she was not one of the lucky ones as her cancer spread to her liver and bones. It was a very trying and traumatic time for me as I was just a very young babe in Christ at age 19 for roughly a year. I prayed for her, the church that we attended prayed for her including the pastor who personally came over and got down on his knees to pray for healing for my mother. After he prayed, he asked me and my brother if we wanted God to heal our mother and of course our answer was "YES". Then he said to us both "Have faith!" Me and my brother both had faith that God would heal our mother. However, my mother's oncologist told us that the prognosis was 4 months and I conveyed that to the pastor whose response was, "Doctors can be wrong!" However, my mother died in 2 months despite the fact that we all had faith that God was going to heal her. The doctor proved the pastor wrong. My mother had no health insurance whatsoever and we had to pay for all her medical expenses and hospital expenses all out of our own pockets from our life savings. It was the worst time of my life where I encountered some of the most cold, heartless, and insensitive people in the hospital where she died. I received no condolences from the hospital staff or from her oncologist. In fact, moments after her passing and still in tears, I was immediately and urgently summoned to the billing office where I was confronted by a very cold and heartless man who demanded to know when I was going to pay for the hospital expenses. He saw that I was in tears, BUT didn't give a crap. His number one priority was $$$$. He was the type of person who could care less about the pain and feelings of others. My mother's death was also the ACID TEST to determine what kind of people my blood relatives really are. My aunt and 2 maternal cousins acted like as if nothing happened where they did not come to my mother's wake or funeral. There was NO CONDOLENCES FROM THEM, NO SYMPATHY, NO CARDS, NOT EVEN A PHONE CALL. I also had other maternal relatives that acted the same way and did not attend my mother's wake or funeral. Some family, huh?! I now consider those so called "blood relatives" enemies. I will not attend their wake or funerals when they die. The worst was yet to come because several months after my mother's passing, I suddenly was struck with an OCD panic attack (obsessive compulsive disorder) that would not respond to prayers, therapy, or meds. I prayed, prayed, and prayed, but there was no response from God. I was in a LOT of pain and mental anguish. Church members prayed for me, but again there was no answer or response from God. Eventually, my church members got tired of praying for me and seeing me in the deplorable condition that I was in and basically just left me alone to suffer. That was cold and cruel of them to do that to me, especially being treated in that way by the church fellowship leader. God later dealt with that church fellowship leader as his mother also dies of liver cancer where his church totally abandoned him and gave him no support. Then he later complains to me that he got no support from his church. He got a taste of his own medicine which he deserved for his cruelty in abandoning me. He falls away from the faith and becomes apostate. I can still remember the phone conversation that I had with him where he DOUBTED the existence of God. Prior to his mother's death, he was a very fired up and enthusiastic person for God. The pain and mental anguish continued and finally I snapped. I concluded that God did not care and just coldly and cruelly abandoned me. I cursed God with the "F" word, denounced my faith, and even destroyed my Bible and lived in willful sin and apostasy for the next 9 years. I indulged in fornication and porno videos for a long time. I became a dirty rotten person on the inside and at one point I was so lost and out of touch with God that I even consulted with mediums and spiritists and bowed down to a demonic god and almost joined a gang. I had become like the unfaithful Israelites in the Old Testament who did things provoking God to anger. I am literally a former living example of Hebrews 6:4-8, Hebrews 10:26-27, Luke 8:13, and John 15:2,6.
Many people with a Lordship Salvation mindset will no doubt write me off as "unsaved" because of my cursing God, denouncing my faith, and my destroying of my Bible and then living in blatant sin for the next 9 years and they will no doubt take out of context and eisegete Luke 8:6-7/Luke 8:13-14, Hebrews 6:4-8, Hebrews 10:26-27, Luke 8:13 and John 15:2,6, 1 John 2:19, etc, among other passages to "prove" that I was never saved to begin with. Those with an Arminian mindset will no doubt write me off as someone who "lost his salvation" and "can't get it back." God, however, at the 9 year mark of my apostasy chastised me through a paranormal experience to bring me back to fellowship with Him. After I was chastised I initially decided to go back to my old church where I originally attended, but when I arrived there, NO ONE would say "hi" to me or even acknowledge my presence after being away for so long. The members there were very SELF-RIGHTEOUS AND BEHAVED LIKE THE PHARISEES OF JESUS TIME, no different from the modern day MacArthurites. I asked the girl whom I was fornicating with to marry me and she married me. God then used me as the mouthpiece to share the gospel of John 3:16 with my unsaved wife where she burst into tears when she heard it. Since I was not welcome at my old church, I decided to attend another church. My wife believed and got saved after the pastor and another brother from the new church that I attended shared the gospel again and explained God's Word to her in more detail. I spoke against the Lord about 10 years ago, I hate my sin. I regret with all my might cussing against the Lord. I believe Jesus is Lord. I believe He covers our sins. Turn to Jesus Christ and follow Him. Here are some verses to assure you if you follow our Lord Jesus Christ: No one can say 'Jesus is Lord' except by the Holy Spirit. 1 Cor. 12:3 All who are being led by the Spirit of God are sons of God Romans 8:4 If we confess our sins...... cleanse us of all unrighteousness 1 John 1:9 If you know He is righteous, you know everyone who practices righteousness is born of Him. 1 John 2:29 make sure no one deceive you; the one who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous. 1 John 3:7 By this the children of God.... are obvious 1 John 3:10. Fruits of the Spirit are love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control Galatians 5: Justified by faith in Christ Galatians 2:16

I thought that I had done something against the Holy Spirit that had made him depart from me. And I really thought I deserved it, not knowing that it was just the enemy putting fake thoughts, words and feelings in my mind. I ended up thinking one day, 'God doesn't actually love me, I deserve all this', and there was something in my spirit that had just said "That isn't true" and it made me cry. I knew that the Holy Spirit of God had not left me nor will he ever. All praise and glory belongs to GOD, who through his son the prince of PEACE has offered us salvation! Amen! 😄
I think we are in the same situation. If the Holy Spirit is not in you, why God shows His miracles and wonders? Why still God blesses you? Why you're still experiencing His love? Why you still have conviction? And why still God letting you think that He is real? Why? If you really blaspheme the spirit, why there are thoughts that makes you remember how great is our God?

We are all in need of a Savior to forgive us and transform us. When we trust in Christ, He promises to transform us, and He will do it, not all at once, but in His perfect timing (Rom 8:28-30).

Not every thought that runs through your mind is your own. You shouldn't feel guilty if Satan or an evil spirit or whatever you want to call it torments you with corrupt thoughts. Pray that God would free you of those thoughts and give you the strength to refocus on positive things (Phil 4:8). And of course, if you haven't received forgiveness of sins, then please look at Acts 2:38.

I have anxiety, insomnia, and intrusive thoughts on the daily; and I always break down crying out to God to have mercy on me and forgive me because these intrusive thoughts come into my head that aren’t mine. These thoughts frustrate me and create so much fear in my spirit because I know It’s terribly wrong, and I keep getting convinced that God won’t forgive me. Even though I don’t act on them, I try to distract myself from them, but they don’t seem to be going away. I’m just praying that I’ll get through this season, and Father will forgive me.

I was reading Mark 3 and the unforgivable sin was mentioned, and it freaked me out because my mind just started swearing at the Holy Spirit for no reason and it freaked me out. I love the Lord and my goal is trying to put him first every day. God is good always and if you ask sincerely, he will forgive you, as he has with me.

I struggled with the same and I also struggle with OCD, so u might be dealing WITH OCD, I've only learned recently that people who worry about the unpardonable sin struggle with OCD.

You must give up on fighting it on your own. Tell Jesus you trust him entirely with freeing you. Your faith saves you!
Lust is not a sin. A sin is when you do deliberate unnecessary harm to others, and lust doesn't do that. It is a natural animal instinct that causes our species to mate and have children. If there was no lust to drive us to have sex, we wouldn't be so fruitful.

Jesus outlines this VERY CLEARLY when He introduces this subject to us: speaking against the Holy Spirit, i.e what the scribes did in that same incidence when they referred to the power of the Holy Spirit at work through Jesus as being from the devil.

Virtues bro it's fine, your ahead of me, because when I was your age I didn't care much...I'm 19 now about to turn 20 I'm about 4 weeks. So a true Christian is someone who is willing to follow Christ to the fullest. When you trust in Jesus, and believe God will be there with you in every single situation, from your good times to your bad, even when you sin, his spirit is with you which is why you would feel guilty after you sin, the Holy Spirit is grieving because you sin, and the grief makes you guilty and guilt is good when it leads you to repentance. When you follow Christ you basically deny yourself, meaning you deny your fleshly desires and desire gods plan for you above everything else, a true Christian desires to have an intimate deep relationship with Jesus our lord and savior. You seek him with all you heart soul and mind, and I promise you, you will find him, and that promise isn't jus from me, it's from the almighty God himself. Just keep striving to get closer to him and learn more about him, and one day you'll realize that Jesus is the only way to the our father God in heaven. Can our thoughts be Forgiven too?! What if your mind hasn't been cleansed I noticed when I read the Bible my mind wonders... and it's hard for me to put a vision in my mind of the Bible about what's happening so Can God understand that I'm trying to read it but that my mind wonders when I read it.
Every thought is not your own. The brain will bring up about every possible scenario and then your mind will focus on the ones that get your attention which usually are negative because you're afraid of them. Or they usually will be the opposite of what you really think. We are going to be judged by what we really think, every scenario that is possible will go through our minds. At least the ones we are conscious of or have time to think of. Your mind is going to wander more if you're afraid of it wandering.

Well the answer is Yes and No! Why?
1. If you are a "non" Born Again Christian; you are blaspheming the Holy Spirit all the time.
But...
2. If you are a Born Again Christian; you would NEVER do it. Because the Holy Spirit would NOT let you do it. Believe it or not. Praise Jesus.
It is impossible for Christian to Blaspheme the Holy Spirit because He has also the Holy Spirit of the LORD GODFATHER in CHRIST.

This sin was in context with the unsaved men in the Pharisees who told and said out loud that the miracles Jesus did was from an unclean spirit. That is the sin you are referring to. Its not saying something bad from your mouth or anything now days. Its looking at Jesus while he was on the earth and saying he has an unclean spirit. This is one of the most misunderstood sins in the whole bible and scares people to death who think they committed it. Luckily Robert Breaker has a video on it which explains this. You can't commit this sin now days as Jesus is not on the earth

I've felt like Esau before too, but those moments are short and temporary. Fearing the wrath of God is a good thing because we acknowledge how just and mighty He is, but as Christians we should have peace of mind knowing that Christ died for our sins. If you have another situation in the future where repenting seems hard, pray and ask God to help you repent (Matthew 7:11). The LORD will give GOOD gifts, meaning that he will help you if you want to repent. He has the power to soften hearts, don't underestimate the power of the LORD of Israel. @classyt20f7 To answer your first question, He absolutely can soften the most hardened heart, regardless of who it is. Just look at a man who used to kill Christians, and his extremely hardened heart was softened by the great grace of God. His name was Paul by the way, the great apostle who would go on to write the majority of the new testament. As for that "pull" that you feel, that is the flesh waging war against the Spirit (Read Romans 7 and 8). If you feel a genuine remorse for your sin, that is the Spirit of God calling you to repentance. That is an awesome and encouraging sign which we should thank God for because he very well could allow us to continue in our sin. With that said, as sinners, we will sin many times in our life. Many times, we will look back and ask ourselves why we did it. But instead of dwelling on our past in wordly remorse, acknowledge that it was a mistake and tell yourself to live for God from now on (Phillipians 3:13-14). The Spirit is the one who protects us, but by our own authority we don't stand a chance against Satan, I would recommend praying and pleading with God to relieve that pressure from you because He does listen to His children.

Ever since I found out about blaspheming the Holy Spirit, a thought that I don’t want, or seems like I don’t have much control over comes up inside of my mind and tries to blaspheme the Holy Spirit. And with all that I am I don’t want it there. I hate it. I love God with everything that I am, and I keep repenting from it. I have my cross in hand ready to crucify the thought and submit it to God every time it comes, but it seems like I don’t stop it fast enough sometimes. Last night I convinced myself that God didn’t want me anymore and that he left, and when I see him he’ll say, “For I never knew you. Depart from me you worker of iniquity!” but I feel like that’s the enemy at work. I cried myself to sleep thinking I wouldn’t be able to bow at the feet of Jesus anymore. In fact, it’s hard not to cry while writing this. And the whole time on my way to sleep I kept hearing blaring the same thing blaring in my head over and over, “YOU’RE DONE! IT’S OVER! YOU CAN’T EXPECT FORGIVENESS. YOU DID THE ONE THING YOU COULDN’T DO! IT’S PLAINLY WRITTEN IN THE BIBLE! YOU. ARE. DONE!” I’ve experienced God multiple times in my life. I’ve had divine intimate moments with him, so I know that without a doubt he has been with me. And if he’s been with me before this happened, then he knew it would and still decided to take residency in me... I don’t think he would leave because of it now, but I feel so ashamed and unsure. Anybody been here already?

I was 21 at the moment and I thought God wouldn’t forgive me because those thoughts were there everyday for months. God forgave me and I’m sure about that and he will forgive you to because he knows your heart. He wants to forgive us. The devil can but thoughts in our head like he has done to you and me. He forgives because his Mercy is great.
If you are saved then the Holy Spirit will be with you forever. And no sin or demon or anything can separate your love from God/Jesus/the Holy Spirit.

I suffer from OCD. I somehow have thoughts about hurting the Holy Spirit and other bad words. I do my best not to say those words. My OCD also questions and brings up old things. I believe I am forgiven but I just want to be prayed for that these OCD attacks I will be under control. Also, I have been feeling a little depressed lately. But I'm getting help. God bless you.
I struggled with the same. You have to call upon Jesus for help!! Seek Jesus…! And I struggle with seeking Jesus, but tell Him if you struggle with seeking Him. THEN ask for help with your OCD because I know religious OCD is VERY dangerous!!
I don't know why I have this OCD called scrupulosity.. I know when I was younger, I went to that alter many times I am saved I know I said by my mouth and heart that Jesus is Lord and he raised was raised from the dead. Still I have seen these thoughts how do you know? Are you sure? It's all baloney. I have thoughts screaming at me stating I committed the unpardonable sin. I mean Jesus gives everybody a whole lifetime to ask him to be your lord and savior. If you don't confess you're done for. They was a person with OCD who really believed he sold your soul to the devil. I had my head slammed to a concrete wall by high school bullies at the age of 14. Did getting these traumatic head injuries (TBIs) might've caused my OCD? OCD can trick your mind or it could be the devil or it could be in your mind. I don't know. I just don't like going through this. It's like a game in your mind. I just keep praying no matter how scary it gets.

Person on Belief that said since I admitted Jesus as my lord and savior, I can NEVER and never will blaspheme the Holy Spirit. Sounds good, but OCD can never be cured. It's a mental illness. I do have triggers, and there are times my brain says, "How do you know?" "Can you prove it?" " You can ask a million times and got might not forgive you!" My brain goes over and over the same sentences. I have to live with this knowing I will still have the same intrusive thoughts and ruiminations in the near future. I keep calling these thoughts as lies or ignore them. I went down to the alter many times and my brain questions everything. There are times I feel like I am really feeling bad, but I still pray. and my brain says, "Why are you doing that?"

Let me tell you, I was battling with thoes thoughts for almost a year!!! & it felt eternal & I felt as if I was never going to be forgiven. & i felt as if they were never going to end, I felt hapless. But thoes feelings in itself testify something else about you. And you say "I never want to offend God!" What really helped me was when I started thinking about my "intention" what do I want to do?? I want to worship God as my savior, my creator, my healer, my God!! That is what my soul says!!! I never want to commit any sort of blasphemy. God knows everything! He sees the depth of hearts!

I truly believe God is healing me fully from OCD. I still get a bit of intrusive thoughts. But my hope is in the fact that He heals.
If he fully heals me, may I testify of His glory.

I had thought I had committed this terrible sin a month ago, I came to my mentor and was in tears because I thought I was unforgiven. Everytime I read the bible I’d say to my self “F” the Holy Trinity and each time would be so afraid and everytime I wasn’t sure why I kept saying it. He-my mentor- explained that one first has to be baptized, then after being baptized then has to be baptized by the Holy Spirit then after knowing God’s true love and truly knowing God you blaspheme against Him. Thats blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. I hope I helped someone who was in my shoes because I know how it is to deal with all of this.

I think it’s really unforgivable if you say it out loud with intent of harm. Your mind is self destructive in many ways I think, at least for me.
When the thoughts are playing out in your head yet your entire will and intent is to avoid doing that, you have not blasphemed Him. It's Satan planting that voice in your head. The very fact that you are against the idea of that voice playing out in your mind is evidence that it's not you pronouncing it

Those are the Devils thoughts trying to get in you, those thoughts are not your own, the very fact that you care and are worried about whether you committed this sin, means you actually haven't done this sin, the devil is trying to accuse you of a lie that you never did, that why is called the accuser, he try's to put his thoughts in you to make you believe they are your thoughts, but you can rest assured that it's not your thoughts by the very facts that you are scared you sinned against God, or you feel guilty for doing this. No. Either make the tree good and it's fruit good or else make the tree bad and it's fruit bad. For a tree is known by it's fruit. You are either a born again child of God been made alive spiritually or you are still dead and remain an enemy of God. A child of God cannot blaspheme the Holy Spirit because it is the Holy Spirit that now lives in them. Blasphemy is rejecting Jesus Christ and the salvation that He provided through the DBR.
I have to disagree with Piper’s interpretation of Hebrews 12.
Esau wasn’t crying because he couldn’t repent of his sin, he was crying because he lost his blessing and couldn’t change what he did. The original account in Genesis proves this:
34 As soon as Esau heard the words of his father, he cried out with an exceedingly great and bitter cry and said to his father, "Bless me, even me also, O my father!"
35 But he said, "Your brother came deceitfully, and he has taken away your blessing."

All Esau wanted was the EARTHLY BLESSING that was taken from him, not God. He never even considered his error, he just blamed it on Jacob. That’s why he’s considered unrepentant.
To say that he was crying because he couldn’t repent is like saying he was willing to turn to God but couldn’t, which is contradictory. It also doesn’t match up with Esau as a character. You’re talking me that Esau lived his whole life seeking after worldly things and, then gave up his blessing, then wanted to repent but couldn’t? That doesn’t make sense, and doesn’t line up with the account in Genesis.
Piper said it himself. Someone who commits blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is someone who is unable AND unwilling to repent. Not someone who is willing but unable.
If you desire to repent, REPENT!! Don’t overthink it.

I think the main take away from Esau is to NOT live in willful unrepentant sin, because those who do will be rejected on the day of judgement.
I’ve had a voice in my mind saying blasphemy to God then I searched somthing up and it said blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is not forgiven so then the voice kept saying that once I figured that out I felt so awful I thought I was going to hell after this video I felt so happy. The devil has been tempting me so much before I was reading my Bible then I started doing a long devotion every night and my life changed my scary thoughts dint scare me anymore because I knew God was there. God is so good. He’s done so much for us yet we still sin but he loves us and forgives us. Don’t forget God will never forsake you! He loves you so much I’m proud to be a Christian are you?

I was having intrusive thoughts on committing Blasphemy and I feel like I said words about hating the holy Spirit but I shut myself up quickly halfway and started saying no it's not true you love Jesus and God. I believe that was my heart telling me I love God and Jesus with all my heart. I believe it was the holy Spirit protecting me but I started fearing I committed the Unforgivable sin. Please pray for me, there has been a voice in my head that constantly blasphemes God. I’m a believer in Jesus and believe He died for me so that I may have eternal life.
I’ve had a huge desire to share the gospel and to turn away from certain sins in my life, but ever since I’ve had this changed mindset, trying to get into the word of God and pursuing him, there’s a voice that constantly pops up in my head and harasses me and also blasphemes God. I don’t know if it’s a evil spirit or my flesh that is the source of that voice. Please pray that God would take it from me, I’ve never experienced this ever as a believer and I’ve been a believer for 11 years now.

Falling away, after you have believed and received is the unforgivable sin, because it is impossible to repent of it.

Only a person who has received the Holy Spirit can even commit this sin. So hopefully, it is extremely rare.

I hope you find confidence and joy and love in your life. Anytime bad thoughts come up try your hardest to think of 3 good things in your life. That would be my advise. Also try and speak positive things like I am awesome! I am confident! I trust God! At first it might be difficult but keep on trying to do those things and you can start feeling better. Willingly- every sin is committed willingly, but they’re committed in moments of weakness and desperation, and a Christian committing these sins will always be lead to repentance.
Also just to give y’all some peace of mind, if you find yourself having thoughts against the Holy Spirit, and your immediate response is one of shock and/or fear. That wasn’t your voice, and God knows that. It’s not just the sin itself but the root in which it’s committed.

david jerimiah explained this much more clearly than this video. but the bottom line is this.the only ones that CAN be guilty of the unforgivable sin were those people who- at the actual time Jesus was alive-blasphemed Jesus. after he was crucified it is no longer possible to even commit this sin. as long you accepted Christ as youe savior after his crucifixtion your not able to commit a sin that God himself cannot forgive.

I also went through that with bad thoughts about the holy spirit.it is demon oppression that is trying to get you to say stupid or evil thoughts about the holy spirit, but dont worry because jesus will finish the work that he started That is a promise.there is no condemnation for those that are in christ all your sins have been forgiven past present and future.
We have two voices to fight against our flesh and the serpent the serpent sends those thoughts into your mind and they even know when you feed into them and try to make you feel and believe they’re of your own when they’re not. I had evil thoughts into my mind about Jesus work and miracles I started to cry and toss and turn all night and felt so away from God and Jesus and that’s how I knew like hey these aren’t from me if they were from the heart I wouldn’t care that I messed up and cared to feel so away and condemned by God and Jesus. I had felt guilty and bad and didn’t want those thoughts in my head I kept trying to fight them in my head but that’s was me feeding into them so instead I started pray and just told me self hey these thoughts aren’t of me and tried to focus my mind on other things

Here is something to ponder: You don't need to believe in Biblical inerrancy to be Christian. Maybe "unpardonable sin" is an error and doesn't exist. The core of Christianity is faith in forgiveness and blissful afterlife, and loving kindness towards others. Try to do as much good for as many people as possible for as long as possible, and don't worry about your past actions. The main idea of Pauline, Biblical Christianity, as opposed to say, gnostic Christianity, is that salvation is a free gift that makes people so happy they try to do as much good as possible. Helpful, loving actions towards others are evidence that a person has been saved by divine grace through faith.

If you are going to continue worrying about the unpardonable sin, you should read the whole New Testament and ask yourself if there could be mistakes in it. The New Testament was copied (transcribed and translated) very well over the centuries, but the original authors could have made mistakes.

I’m a believer to Jesus Christ when I was small, first I thought he was man(I’m sorry I was little) but later I learned he was the son of God and I know he always exists but then year later I betrayed God to be famous and I totally regret it 😢😣😔 I hope God forgive me like he did to Peter and I didn’t deny the Holy Spirit witness I hate myself I wish I wasn’t selfish. What you need to do is simple!! Confess your fleshly desires to God and others in the church. Then God will remove that temptation. You will be free!
When I was thinking thought of being "filled by the holy spirit" I had a blasphemous thought that said "d3m0n p0ss3ssion is real" to that thought, and my mouth was open and I migh've have said it, and I think I smiled, and I had a blasphemous thought that said "be freed from the spirit of God', and I migh've have said both of this thoughts

No that is not blasphemy, In Acts it says he that curses the son of man which is Jesus can be forgiven. God was Jesus Christ in the flesh who came and died for our sins so we can be forgiven. John 3:16 “For God so loved the world he gave his only begotten son, whosoever believeth In him will not perish but have everlasting life. Jesus says in the Bible “The Father and I are one” John 14:6 Jesus says unto them “I am the way, the truth and the life no one comes to the father but through me”. I used to think the same thing and I got saved a month ago Aug 26th 2019. Bible says we only need a grain of faith, faith the size of a mustard seed. Believe in that God was Jesus Christ in the flesh, he died for your sins so u can be forgiven, and he rose from the dead on the 3rd day and ask god to save you and ask for forgiveness and you will be saved. It changed my life. When you’re saved you become a new creature the Bible says you become reborn again not of the flesh but of the spirit. I hope this helps🙏🏻🙏🏻

If you are actively working against God, this is blasphemy against the holy spirit. If you are seeking forgiveness and believe in God then odds are you have not committed this sin. People think way too hard on this. A blasphemer of the holy spirit will not be forgiven because they find no power in his works.
This is why it says there is no forgiveness, it is a state of Sin and mind rather than a sin itself. These blasphemers do not believe in the Son of God because their minds have become reprobate, they have hardened their hearts and seared their conscience. The very fact that you are worried about this means you are not guilty, the guilty ones will not worry about it. Ask yourself are you seeking God? Or could you care less? I am scared because last night i had read Matthew 12:31-32 and after when i fell for sleep my mind started to think negatively and I couldn't control it and for one point for no reason it blasphemed the holy spirit and i didn't mean it nor want it because i love god. A little while ago I committed a sin willfully and I was very convicted during that time but i still did it. Now I don’t really feel the Holy Spirit as much as I used to. @@stephaniebarnes2119 You do not have to worry if you have committed blasphemy against the Spirit because the fact that you worry about this sin shows that the Spirit is still striving with you and is still convicting you of sin which means He has not left you. And I am not convinced that the Spirit will leave a person who has truly believed in Jesus and repented of sin because Ephesians tells us we have been sealed until the day of redemption with the Spirit see Ephesians 1:13 and 4:30. I even felt convicted when saved at 10 but asked my mom and she said you aren’t judged for your sins once saved so I have sinned and never stopped so I guess I never received the Holy Spirit. If you cannot answer that question with a resounding yes then do not be discouraged because there is still hope. God is still drawing you to Himself for your salvation! You just have to make the decision and give your life to Jesus. Make Him Lord. Repent of all sin. Turn from the old person and its wicked ways and turn to Christ. After you have done this be baptized into the name of Yahshua (Jesus) for the remission of your sins and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. It is not to late make this decision today.

In the two NT verses, the Greek word for *confess* , _exomologeomai,_ is also used by Christ to praise His Father in Matthew 11:25 & Luke 10:21. It's never used in any verse to mean forced praise, which is what many are forced by their theology to argue it can mean here. The implications are enormous.

Hey I'm here to say that I have had the thoughts of cursing the holy Spirit and I will tell you this I had a voice (Jesus) come to me a few days later and asked me why I had just a thought and I responded to him saying idk then a few days later I had the feeling of my soul leaving my body but it was forced back into my body and that's when I realized that it was the holy Spirit once you are secure in the Lord he'll never let you go bottom line cause he loves us more than we will ever know

Unfortunately, obviously yes. I myself have done it. And I recommend not to entertain such evil. The consequences for me were disastrous. I didn't lose my life but I suffered many years of humiliation and lack of confidence. It took a lot of work to gain the confidence back and I'm still recovering from the pain and suffering. I committed that blasphemy under narcissistic abuse. Only God's extraordinary mercy have reconciled me to Himself. I woke up, when I woke up I realized my own biological father had sabotaged my call from the Lord. Pls stay away from blasphemy. Whatever you are going through cry out to God, sing a hymn, find a good local church. God is good, if the Lord was bad He would be a lot worse than the devil. Looking back I'm amazed how I managed to blaspheme God. Some people are dealing with horrific spiritual battle out there, and yes they can end up denying the Lord, murmuring and blaspheming. Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is Never being saved to begin with. Apon hearing the gospel of Jesus Christ we are sent the Holy Spirit. The job of the Holy Spirit is to reveal Spiritual truth of who Christ is (not just what we read and understand, But Spiritual Knowlege of the Son of God). Without this truth we face death alone (unsaved). We as Christians here the gospel the, spirit is sent and instead of going to Prayer and God for interpretation we go to man and a religion of men. In this we Never come to Spiritual truth and in doing this Blaspheme the Spirit by ignoring Him and instead putting faith in man, not God. The Pharisees Jesus was talking to were literally hearing and seeing the Word of God right before their eyes and yet they not only did not see who he was, but by saying that he was of the devil was in essence exactly what we do when we don't listen to Him and judge those who do understand Spiritual things. There is only ONE sin that is unforgiven, NEVER being forgiven in the first place. Because of our lack of Spiritual Knowlege.. Thats It, this is why they were in "danger" of never being forgiven and not "On the spot going tpo Hell". because if they continued to think this way and die without understanding they would not be forgiven seeing that they (as we) are without excuse, having been given the opportunity to believe and listen to the Spirt. but instead, we (as they did, and still do) follow in a religion and physical works and knowledge of men.. He is quite literally explaining How to come to Christ in this verse, and the danger of being carnal minded and following a religion and putting faith in our own understanding or the understanding of other men. Only God reveals Spiritual truth. The importance of prayer and reading your bible for yourself is PARAMOUNT.. Loose the religion for a while until you get a foundation built on God. Trust me, the Spirit is waiting patiently for this.. Watch that bible come to life. Stop putting the bible up as a golden calf. the bible is only there to bear witness of what GOD reveals to you in Spirit. You will NOT understand it spiritually unless God be the one to show you, so don't rely on your pastor or any man for this. Because they cant and you can't hear the Spiritual meaning of it even if they themselves know it and give it too you. +Mas Dog007 Christians who suffer from OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder) have fears that they may have committed the unforgivable sin, but the very fact that they are concerned and worried is proof positive that they HAVE NOT AND CANNOT COMMIT THIS SPECIFIC SIN.
OCD produces intrusive thoughts. I have had OCD for many years. Many people in the church are very ignorant when it comes to what the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit really is. The unforgivable sin is called the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit which is recorded in the context of Matthew 12:22-32, Mark 3:22-30, and Luke 12:8-10. It is the attributing of the miracles/healings, and exorcisms performed by Jesus to the power of Satan. The Pharisees and the teachers of the law were personal eyewitnesses to the many miracles/healings/exorcisms performed by Jesus which produced no faith in them whatsoever.
In spite of all those great things that Jesus did, they still stubbornly would not believe or acknowledge Him as God, but instead falsely accused Jesus of being demon possessed which shows their utterly faulty logic. The faulty logic of the unbelieving Jews of John 10:31-39 is also evident in the fact that despite Jesus performing many great miracles they refused to believe that He was God, but falsely accused Him of being only a "mere man." Again, the unbelieving Jews refused to believe that Jesus is God in John 12:37 despite His many miracles and healings in their presence.
Even when Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead, the Pharisees and chief priests still did not believe that Jesus is God, but planned on killing both Jesus and Lazarus - John 11:45 -53, John 12:9-11.
The unforgivable sin in the context of Matthew 12:31-32/Mark 3:28-29/Luke 12:10 can only be committed back during Jesus time for it requires Jesus physical presence here on earth performing miracles/healings/exorcisms. The Pharisees and teachers of the law and the unbelieving Jews in John 10:31-39 and John 12:37 came dangerously close to committing this sin if they were to persist in that state of unbelief and dying in that state. Jesus many great miracles/healings/exorcisms, etc were irrefutable proof that He was indeed God, but to willfully choose to disbelieve that and falsely accuse Him of being possessed by Satan is unforgivable.
The unforgivable sin can only be committed by the UNSAVED who could care less about God and are totally unconcerned and who die in that very state of mind. Saved Christians cannot commit this sin for how can a saved Christian who is eternally saved at the very moment of faith - John 5:24, Ephesians 1:13, later on commit an eternal sin which leads to eternal condemnation? Impossible.
In the present age, if UNSAVED people reject the gospel despite being exposed to it and die in that very state of mind, then they are eternally condemned and have committed the unpardonable sin of unbelief in Christ's free gift of eternal life.
In the present age, if saved Christians in this life become discouraged, disillusioned, angry at God, curse God and fall away from the faith and even die in that state of mind, they are still eternally saved because they have already been sealed with the unbreakable seal of the Holy Spirit - Ephesians 1:13 when they first believed. It is Christ that keeps them eternally saved despite their failures because Christ is an unfailing Savior that does not go back on His Word and promise - John 5:24, John 10:28-29, Romans 8:38-39, 1 Corinthians 3:15, 2 Timothy 2:13.
They will experience chastisement from God and other unpleasant consequences in this life including sickness when they fall into sin and wickedness and some may have their physical lives terminated by God where they will be taken home prematurely - 1 John 5:16-17, but they are still saved.
They will lose out on ETERNAL REWARDS at the Judgment Seat of Christ, but they are still saved as eternal life is a free gift that is not of our works. Only ETERNAL REWARDS are of our works - 1 Corinthians 3:10-15.
Self-righteous Calvinists/Lordship Salvationists and Arminian/Lordship Salvationists and all false works based preachers would of course falsely teach that if saved Christians become discouraged, disillusioned, angry at God and curse God and fall away from the faith and even die in that state of mind, that they were either "unsaved to begin with"- (Calvinist interpretation) or "will lose their salvation" and go to hell - (Arminian interpretation). Both views are wrong and both groups will no doubt teach that these Christians have committed the "unpardonable sin" and take Scriptural passages out of context and eisegete such passages like Hebrews 6:4-8, Hebrews 10:26-27, John 15:2,6, Luke 12:42-46, 1 Corinthians 9:27, 2 Corinthians 13:5, Philippians 2:12, etc, in an attempt to prove their point.
I know of 2 examples of people who have blasphemed the Holy Spirit and are not saved, namely my father and my wife's uncle. My father died rejecting the gospel despite the fact that my mother tried sharing the gospel with him for many years. He would mock the gospel and mock John 6:53-56 openly and continued to do so after my mother died. The women's fellowship of our former church used to come over to my house for fellowship and Bible study with my mother. However, my father would yell at them and chase them away and they would only come over when my father was not at home. My father was evil and a cruel man of Satan where I hated him for a long time.
My wife's uncle rejected the gospel on his deathbed when several Christians tried to share the gospel with him, but he flat out told them to "Get lost!" My father and my wife's uncle are now in hell and face an imminent eternity of regret in the Lake of Fire. They both have committed the unpardonable sin in the context of John 3:18.

@@HououinKyouma. No worries. Hey, of course God forgives you! You are not the only one who cursed God with the "F" word. I was on the same boat many years ago. Please allow me to share my personal testimony of God's grace and forgiveness. My mother had cancer 36 years ago, but she was not one of the lucky ones as her cancer spread to her liver and bones. It was a very trying and traumatic time for me as I was just a very young babe in Christ at age 19 for roughly a year. I prayed for her, the church that we attended prayed for her including the pastor who personally came over and got down on his knees to pray for healing for my mother. After he prayed, he asked me and my brother if we wanted God to heal our mother and of course our answer was "YES". Then he said to us both "Have faith!" Me and my brother both had faith that God would heal our mother. However, my mother's oncologist told us that the prognosis was 4 months and I conveyed that to the pastor whose response was, "Doctors can be wrong!" However, my mother died in 2 months despite the fact that we all had faith that God was going to heal her. The doctor proved the pastor wrong.
My mother had no health insurance whatsoever and we had to pay for all her medical expenses and hospital expenses all out of our own pockets from our life savings. It was the worst time of my life where I encountered some of the most cold, heartless, and insensitive people in the hospital where she died. I received no condolences from the hospital staff or from her oncologist. In fact, moments after her passing and still in tears, I was immediately and urgently summoned to the billing office where I was confronted by a very cold and heartless man who demanded to know when I was going to pay for the hospital expenses.
He saw that I was in tears, BUT didn't give a crap. His number one priority was $$$$. He was the type of person who could care less about the pain and feelings of others.
My mother's death was also the ACID TEST to determine what kind of people my blood relatives really are. My aunt and 2 maternal cousins acted like as if nothing happened where they did not come to my mother's wake or funeral. There was NO CONDOLENCES FROM THEM, NO SYMPATHY, NO CARDS, NOT EVEN A PHONE CALL. I also had other maternal relatives that acted the same way and did not attend my mother's wake or funeral.
Some family, huh?! I now consider those so called "blood relatives" enemies. I will not attend their wake or funerals when they die.
The worst was yet to come because several months after my mother's passing, I suddenly was struck with an OCD panic attack (obsessive compulsive disorder) that would not respond to prayers, therapy, or meds. I prayed, prayed, and prayed, but there was no response from God. I was in a LOT of pain and mental anguish. Church members prayed for me, but again there was no answer or response from God.
Eventually, my church members got tired of praying for me and seeing me in the deplorable condition that I was in and basically just left me alone to suffer. That was cold and cruel of them to do that to me, especially being treated in that way by the church fellowship leader.
God later dealt with that church fellowship leader as his mother also dies of liver cancer where his church totally abandoned him and gave him no support. Then he later complains to me that he got no support from his church. He got a taste of his own medicine which he deserved for his cruelty in abandoning me. He falls away from the faith and becomes apostate. I can still remember the phone conversation that I had with him where he DOUBTED the existence of God. Prior to his mother's death, he was a very fired up and enthusiastic person for God.
The pain and mental anguish continued and finally I snapped. I concluded that God did not care and just coldly and cruelly abandoned me. I cursed God with the "F" word, denounced my faith, and even destroyed my Bible and lived in willful sin and apostasy for the next 9 years. I indulged in fornication and porno videos for a long time. I became a dirty rotten person on the inside and at one point I was so lost and out of touch with God that I even consulted with mediums and spiritists and bowed down to a demonic god and almost joined a gang. I had become like the unfaithful Israelites in the Old Testament who did things provoking God to anger. I am literally a former living example of Hebrews 6:4-8, Hebrews 10:26-27, Luke 8:13, and John 15:2,6.
Many people with a Lordship Salvation mindset will no doubt write me off as "unsaved" because of my cursing God, denouncing my faith, and my destroying of my Bible and then living in blatant sin for the next 9 years and they will no doubt take out of context and eisegete Luke 8:6-7/Luke 8:13-14, Hebrews 6:4-8, Hebrews 10:26-27, Luke 8:13 and John 15:2,6, 1 John 2:19, etc, among other passages to "prove" that I was never saved to begin with. Those with an Arminian mindset will no doubt write me off as someone who "lost his salvation" and "can't get it back."
God, however, at the 9 year mark of my apostasy chastised me through a paranormal experience to bring me back to fellowship with Him. After I was chastised I initially decided to go back to my old church where I originally attended, but when I arrived there, NO ONE would say "hi" to me or even acknowledge my presence after being away for so long. The members there were very SELF-RIGHTEOUS AND BEHAVED LIKE THE PHARISEES OF JESUS TIME, no different from the modern day MacArthurites. I asked the girl whom I was fornicating with to marry me and she married me. God then used me as the mouthpiece to share the gospel of John 3:16 with my unsaved wife where she burst into tears when she heard it. Since I was not welcome at my old church, I decided to attend another church. My wife believed and got saved after the pastor and another brother from the new church that I attended shared the gospel again and explained God's Word to her in more detail. This was 27 years ago, but God has been gracious to us ever since.

I thought “f-god”. I immediately felt the lords presence leave me. I’m so scared. It was impulse. I always think horrible thoughts. I’m just scared. I don’t want to make excuses. I need Jesus.

I spoke against the Lord about 10 years ago, I hate my sin. I regret with all my might cussing against the Lord. I believe Jesus is Lord. I believe He covers our sins. Turn to Jesus Christ and follow Him. Here are some verses to assure you if you follow our Lord Jesus Christ:
No one can say 'Jesus is Lord' except by the Holy Spirit. 1 Cor. 12:3
All who are being led by the Spirit of God are sons of God Romans 8:4
If we confess our sins...... cleanse us of all unrighteousness 1 John 1:9
If you know He is righteous, you know everyone who practices righteousness is born of Him. 1 John 2:29
make sure no one deceive you; the one who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous. 1 John 3:7
By this the children of God.... are obvious 1 John 3:10.
Fruits of the Spirit are love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control Galatians 5:
Justified by faith in Christ Galatians 2:16
