Scream 2 isn't ridiculous its one of the best.
Randy's death also hit me hard, because he was my favorite character, but I think they let him die because his job was done and he had said it all with his explanations of horror movies and their sequels, but still I would have liked to see the movie nerd character continue in this franchise.

It was actually in the trailers, the rules for the sequel, including never ever kill off the killer. Notice in the scene where Randy dies he picks up Gales cell phone, the killer was going after Gale not Randy, because Gale shot Billy, she only settled on killing Randy when he started talking crap on Billy ya know her son.

The Scream franchise has renewed the slasher genre, it's funny, ahead of its time and scary for its time. I really dont think "Ridiculous"IS a good term for the Scream franchise. Its everything But never ridiculous.

Courtney and David met while filming the first Scream and in Scream 2 They were engaged. They got married right after filming Scream 3. AND have a 17-year-old daughter. David had also made a cameo in Friends😉

Fun facts:
The original script was leaked to the internet, revealing the identity of the killers (one of the first major film leaks ever). As a result, the script was almost entirely re-written. The cast were not informed of the identity of the killer until the last day of shooting and were required to sign a confidentiality agreement. Debbie Salt/Mrs. Loomis was one of the original killers but with Derek (Sidney's boyfriend) and Hallie (Sidney's roommate), instead of Mickey.
Aside from him originally being one of the killers, any scenes where Derek is looking very suspicious were deliberately shot as a red herring so that the audience would wonder if he's the killer.
I don't agree with leaking but I personally am glad they changed it. Hallie would've been okay but Derek would've just been a repeat of Billy from the first movie.
A blonde Matthew Lillard, who played Stu in the first movie, makes a surprise cameo at the sorority party.
Gail saying her head was photoshopped onto Jennifer Aniston's body after nude photos of her got leaked online was actually referencing the fact that fake nude photos of Courteney Cox were leaked online before Scream 2 went into production.
I don't know if you've seen Matilda or Hocus Pocus, but the sorority house is the same that was used as Miss Trunchbull's house in Matilda, and the inside of the house was the inside of Allison's house in Hocus Pocus.
Courteney Cox and David Arquette were married for 14 years and have a 19 year old daughter named Coco, who's godmother is Jennifer Aniston.
Also, David Arquette's dad, Lewis Arquette, plays Chief Hartley.
Additionally, Sarah Michelle Gellar (Cici/chick from Buffy) and Jerry O'Connell (Derek) dated briefly after working on the film.
I remember reading somewhere about the leaked script and it was said that the script was fake. 🤔

I'm really not a fan of the horror genre, but the Scream franchise was palatable for me (more suspense/slasher), I always love your reactions and this one will be no different!
First time i watched this i thought those sorority girls would be the killers. Apparently they wrote 3 different endings as the killers in this, and one of them did include that pair.
I love this movie! My favorite line was when Sydney was like, “I f*** killed him!” Ugh love her! For the third rule randy was gonna say was never assume the killer is dead. It was said in one of the trailers.

Great reaction! The most heartbreaking moment is watching Gale think that Dewey's a goner, and then when they reveal he survived 🥹🙏🏼 Pulls at my heartstrings every time! Look forward to the next one 😄
So happy to see continuing the franchise. Just be wary, from 4 on, they continue to get more brutal with each new film.

The great thing about the Scream films were they were so self aware, in that it even though it is a serious subject they constantly refers to old Horror films and makes reference to the plot of them etc. It also spawned superb sequels, each one of them is great too and well worth a watch. You gotta do all the sequels, the writing is just so clever. Sarah Michelle Gellar ( Buffy herself! ) is here in Scream 2, but can't use her slaying powers here. Really top female actors in all the Scream films Neve Campbell, Courtney Cox (the constants), Drew Barrymore, Rose McGowan, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Heather Graham, Jada Pinkett-Smith, Rebecca Gayheart, Emily Mortimer, Emma Roberts, Hayden Pannettiere, Anna Paquin, Kristen Bell, and they are just the ones I can remember! The plots are just so clever you will love them. You gotta do all the sequels man.

My youtube is definitely catching up on me being obsessed with the Scream movies haha cause it keeps showing me up people reacting to them and I love to revisit them through someone else's eyes. I've watched your reaction to Scream and this one so far and I'm enjoying them a lot. I think you really get shocked in the scenes that matter, don't take the parts that don't need to be so serious and you seem to have so much fun watching them. I enjoy that you're genuinelly laughing or smiling throughout and react naturally, even voicing the audience concerns or what we were all thinking (I'm sorry but some reaction Channels are just fake and unnatural) I loved how happy you were that Dewey survived! I'll keep watching while you go through with the saga. With the first one, being that it's an older film and the twist is even revealed in the parodies, I'm pretty sure you must've known who the killers were already. Or maybe you figured it out haha but watching it for the first time a long time ago, believe me, it was shoking at least to have two killers, maybe Billy was more obvious, but two!? And it all made sense at the end cause of course, that's how the killer was so fast and could call while being hidden. Anyway, I'm looking forward to Scream 3.

So you've seen Final Destination? All of them? Well, can't recommend that one now. What about Jeepers Creepers 1 & 2? Or Joy Ride from 2001, Wrong Turn 1 & 2. I would recommend the Saw franchise, but I don't know if that would really be up your alley, a nice Christian boy like yourself... it's very brutal and gory.

My love for the movies kinda fell out after Randy's death because he was the expert and the group really wasn't the same after. The Scream TV show brought my love back thanks to Noah Foster who was the expert in the show (my personal favorite Scream franchise character). Scream 2's such a classic though and a great sequel from beginning to end. I just wish Randy lived and I would pick him over Dewey just because he was the innocent geek who never got the girl in the end :( . The actor is also so charismatic and even in other movies I've seen him in like Tremors. You really do question why the fuck they killed him off lmao. I honestly LOVED Mickey as the killer though and Timothy KILLED IT. He was a mix of Billy & Stu. The thing is, Mickey was a serial killer before becoming Ghostface. Mrs. Loomis I was kind of eh with and didn't care much for her character but Mickey? He was fucking crazy.
The stab movie is based on the events in scream. And scream is based on the gainsville killer in Florida. Well kind of

Scream 2 is one of those rare movies where the sequel is just as good as the original (my personal opinion). I remember when I first saw Scream 2 how crazy it was that Laurie Metcalf was the killer. I always remembered her as Aunt Jackie in the show Roseanne, so seeing her play such a disturbing character in Scream 2 just shows her range of acting abilities. Hopefully you continue on with the franchise! Great video! 😱👍

Unpopular opinion Scream 2 is my favorite of the franchise.
For me Scream without Dewey is not Scream by far the best character
It is arguable that this is the best of the original Scream trilogy. I recommend watching Scary Movie once you're done with Scream 3 and I Know What You Did Last Summer. You'll never see Scream 1-3 in the same way again!

best way to describe each character:
Sidney: hero
Derek: frat boy (and honestly i can't stand him...looks like a complete doosh nozel)
Randy: nerd (but the good kind)
Gale: Opportunist
Dewey: loyalist
Mickey out of all the 6 scream films and 13 killers (if you count Angelina from Scream 3),
was the only killer to die slowly & painfully, firing squad style after he resurrected.
Those who resurrected after their supposed death got a simple & quick blow to the head
with a gun; but Jill Roberts was the only one to be shot in the chest after her resurrection.
technically that is true, it's not a sequel if the trilogy was pre-planned...the star wars trilogy was pre-planned so it doesn't count.
I personally wanted to say that Scream 3 imo is the weakest one, so if you don't find it as enjoyable as the first two, don't be discouraged. 4 is very good, 5 gets a little weak but not nearly as weak as 3, and 6 is, imo on par with the first movie. I don't think you will be disappointed.
