20 years ago, I helped to maintain the Mount Eusenhower Trail with a friend of mine. I loved being out there in this wilderness area. Not many people but still so beautiful.
That is awesome! I really enjoy these trails that are seldom used. Thanks for your maintenance work. I have only been in Mt Eisenhower Trail for a very short distance, but am looking forward to taking it the whole length.
It is worth watching this a second time. One of my favorite areas of the White Mountains. I had another spot further downstream that I used to cross that Dry River crossing on the Eisenhower Trail to skip some mileage coming up from 302. Somewhat of a bushwhack that I knew. Not sure if it is possible anymore with all the destruction due to floods.
Not surprised at all. I was glad that the White Mountain Guide was explicit in its description of the crossing and was fully prepared to go back out the way we came in.

The Dry River sometimes is anything but Dry. I had to turn around once due to high water one May.
