Is it safe to have and use both DE & Lime at the same time in the coop? I have a flea problem. Some stray cats were housing under the house and introduced fleas to my flock. I have since blocked off any entry points to keep cats out. The chickens, guineas and turkeys aren't too bad but the poor ducks sleep on the ground in coops and get the bulk of them, along with broody hens. I am frustrated and stressed because I do not want my birds to suffer. I have a large flock, well over 70 birds. They free range during day, sleep in multiple coops at night. I live west of SA, TX, so summers are always hot, and either wet and humid, or dry and draught-like. Any help is appreciated.
I swear by DE. That stuff will keep lice off a chicken like nothing else. Great vid, as always!!

There's a spray on chewy called ultra cruz natural pest control poultry spray, smells great, works great!
