Nah. The fence did exactly what it was designed to do, break and in the act of breaking slingshot the car back to the tack. Those wires have alot of tension on them, so much so that when load is put on them, they snap in unison, breaking the posts, and causing them to literally jump forward. It does this to force what ever object that is currently colliding with the fence back and away from the grandstands

Cuz I remember as a kid wondering what it would be like to be in a toy car on a hot wheels track and this was the closest thing to it. I could only imagine how scary it is to be going 200 around a track for 500 miles completely surrounded by other drivers. Atleast to me
