Fort William Suburbs, Scottish Highlands 4k (Glencoe, Fort William, Grey Corries, Glenfinnan)

Lochaber is a name applied to a part of the Scottish Highlands. Historically, it was a provincial lordship consisting of the parishes of Kilmallie and Kilmonivaig. Lochaber once extended from the Northern shore of Loch Leven, a district called Nether Lochaber, to beyond Spean Bridge and Roybridge, which area is known as Brae Lochaber or Braigh Loch Abar in Gaelic.
Lochaber has two main towns Fort William and Mallaig with Fort William housing circa 11,000 of the the circa 19,000 Lochaber population.
Jacobite Steam Train a.k.a The Hogwarts Express from the Harry Potter movies can be used to travel across Lochaber.
From the visually impressive Glen Nevis where scenes from both the Harry Potter and Braveheart movies were shot, to Spean Bridge just outside Fort William which was a prolific training ground for Commandos during WWII. It is also home to the Commando Monument and the Spean Bridge Commando Museum, which is inside the Spean Bridge Hotel.
