You can make the armor work if you try to bait shots behind the corner, similar to AMX M4 54. Look at the armor model next time to see the angle you need to make. Also I use improved rotation mechanisam instead of turbo, its not the kind of tank you need speed but to make sure you hit more shots
I'll try it later with some other equipment modules, i can't remember what actually i was using back in some time, what i know that that was something for improving the gun, that's for sure. When it's about armor... 5-10 years ago armor worked like a boss, now it's just meh. But yeah, baiting enemies to shot at you at some corners works sometimes pretty good, you're right about that.
