I've always thought that the strangest Simpsons episode was the episode were Homer and Bart got a horse and enter it into the derby and Homer discover that the all the jocks were actually magical elves.
@@TheSimpsonsTheory you really are underrated I wish just more Simpsons fans can find your channel and subscribe or maybe even FOX and Disney can find your channel and say hey look it's a Simpsons channel it's really good Simpsons channel you should subscribe
My vote goes to the episode where Lisa finds that flower with calming properties and they use it on grandpa and the old people. I honestly thought I was dreaming when I saw the eyeballs popping out.
id love to see a dark side of ned because he's a lot more then you think like in the movie he says "ill make that real blood" to bart and how he had anger issues as a kid also he's been really close to snapping so many times
This clip is my favorite Ned Flanders moment for this exact reason. Man spends a lot more time *holding back* his darkness than he is being good ua-cam.com/video/GrPZBNST5z0/v-deo.html
The Mysterious Voyage of Homer is the best one, mainly because it was reenacted in Lego Dimensions, from Marge trying to hide the chilli cookoff from Homer, to the entire trip.
"Simpsons Guy" is the weirdest to me, mostly because it's in every sense a Family Guy episode with Simpsons characters, and it's extremely weird and jarring to see the excessive violence of Family Guy casually be included in this show. I don't think I've ever seen Homer bleed so much outside of the Treehouse of Horror specials.
Perhaps the serfsons is an example of the writers priming the fans to watch some medieval fantasy stuff and "oh hey look theres this new show over here called Disenchantment. What a coincidence" kinda deal? Thats my conspiracy 😂
Random weird episode moments- "I need tungsten to live, TUNGSTEN!" "We'll have our own game, where people throw ducks at balloons and nothing is what it seems" "I am the lizard queen!"
I swear the mysterious voyage of Homer is definitely a strange, but cool looking episode. If this wasn't on the list, I might have never saw that episode in my life! 😄
You should do a 2 part video. The first half would be Simpsons easter eggs in Futurama and the other one would be Futurama Easter eggs in the Simpsons.
The only thing I ever find STRANGE with the Simpsons is that none of the characters ever actually age. Bart is still 10 years old, Lisa is still 8 years old and Maggie is still a baby, and yet we have had episodes of Bart and Lisa in the past and in the future. That's something worth investigating.
The second I saw the headline the Strangest Simpsons episodes ever "The Mysterious Voyage of Our Homer" popped into my mind. I liked it, but my friend, who is a big Simpsons buff, despises it. Says it his least favorite episode ever. It's trippy and strange , but a solid episode overall.
Speaking of the Surfsons episode... Any one noticed the fluent animation on the talking lion? If you rewatch the scene where he’s advertising religion to Marge you will see how fluent he’s animated.
It's interesting how many Treehouse of Horror episodes either later became or already were Futurama episodes. And actually the Simpsons in a human zoo was a case of Futurama already did it. Simpsorama was really fun to me.
I find the strangest episodes are any episodes with Sideshow Bob after his first appearance - because he should never have been released after his first attempt to kill Krusty - But Springfield just keeps releasing him again and again - what is wrong with that town????
Really cool video! Another strange one was "Trilogy of Error" from season 12, where several stories intersect. "22 Short Films About Springfield" from season 7 was also on the strange side. I especially remember Lisa getting gum in her hair and everybody trying to get it out with various things like peanut butter and mayonnaise 😂 Love both these episodes.
The Simpsons Theory should do a good to evil and maybe kind of changing it the way Wicked Binge did it, but I'm not saying you should rip them off it's just a request, and also other people do actually do good to evils so I think that would be a great episode, and also I loved this video as well!
It's cool to know that even though The Simpsons started off as a more grounded series that just having outlandish elements doesn't make it bad. What matters is how you execute it since how it's executed is what makes it work or fail. Also, I would love to see you make a video on Futurama references in The Simpsons. Would you also consider including Simpsons references on Futurama?
I also think the fact that the Bart Clones starting off as rabbits in the futurama crossover may have been a reference to Matt's other work "Life in Hell" making the episode a trifecta of Matt Groening's work (pre-disenchantment and duncanville)
The Chilli Episode and Simpsorama I personally love despite how crazy they can be the Chilli episode looking back as an adult is the animation for Homer’s out of body experience as for Simpsorama I love because of I had the original crossover of the Simpsons and Futurama in the Comics done by Bongo years ago even getting a complete edition 2 years ago for Xmas
If the simpsons is a reality TV show then they're an actual family and it makes sense that the Futurama crew could have gone back and done all of that and the Simpsons still are a TV show in the Futurama universe, right?
I think my favorite episode is „ The Mysterious Voyage of Homer“. What‘s yours Lydia? Also the episode somehow gave me the weird interest in Aztec and Mayan myths.
I thought the moment in that episode where sideshow Bob becomes mayor were we see Archie and the gang kick homer out of their car, I was like why do they exist in this universe when the characters read the Archie comics and they were white not yellow
Homers chili trip is one of the best episodes ever! Especially when you have eaten the same type of chili he did. LOL. The first time I saw that episode me and my friends were all eating chili that night. There were no mushrooms, this chili was way spicier than mushroom chili. LOL. The next time I saw that episode I remember thinking, this seemed a lot more intense when I saw this before. You are really making me feel old Lydia! I have to remind myself sometimes that not everybody is older than the Simpsons. LOL. I'll let this one slide this time Lydia. I would love to see that Futurama video you mentioned, sounds like a great idea!! Good luck and stay safe to everybody watching! Ahoy Springfieldians🌶
I’d add that bible episode to the list. Don’t remember the name of it though. The family falls asleep in church and several short-bible stories later they wake up in the apocalypse. Episode ends as they all walk into hell together.
Another great video. Haven’t watched the Simpsons religiously for a winter so some of the episodes you referenced I haven’t seen. Could you perhaps put the season/episode numbers on the screen or in your video description. Thanks

Strangest Simpsons episode; Principal and the Pauper. What makes this strange? It disregarded years of Canon, plot wise it makes no sense, essentially ignored after that. Few references hint at it. Or what about Tales of Springfield, what makes this strange? The Steamed Hams. Lol
All very good examples of strange episodes! I originally had Tales of Springfield on the script, but it took it out and replaced it with a stranger one
The crossoever epsiode with family guy and the Simpsons was really unnesserary. Episode never shows nor explains how the Griffins could met the Simpson. I don't see how the characters will like in the same universe. Plus, Simpson sonrama could have been better if it was an extended episode. A 22 minute episode crossover is way too short and felt rushed. If they do another futurama crossover, they should more thought it. The Mysterious Voyage of Homer is the best one, mainly because it was reenacted in Lego Dimensions, from Marge trying to hide the chilli cookoff from Homer, to the entire trip.

Simpson’s guy is actually a family guy episode I believe
It is a family guy one

That means it all takes place within a year.
Alternative realities are my best suggestion right now
Every episode takes place in a different timeline which explains why everything can be in different places in different episodes.
I love this channel! But if you ask me, even though they aren’t cannon, I think the strangest episodes are always the treehouse of horror episodes.
Very true! Some if the most memorable moments too! ✌️
I also think “the simpsons guy” should be number 1 on the list...
