Used the easiest swing for years since it was introduced by Brian Philips brother, 1st called positive impact golf. . His book is a revelation and have a swing rite which is the only training aid i’ve ever used. I’m almost 65, snapped my achilles and arthritis in the knees and hips, still single figure handicap and won our club championship this year.
I’m nearly 60 years old and recently I’ve found The Easiest Swing and it’s improved my golf . One thing you didn’t mention which is important in the Easiest Swing method is Le Danse du golf . Basically it’s a little dance rotating your hips , shoulders and arms where also your heal rises up . I practice this all the time around the house . Thanks Andy 👍
I’ve been lifting my left heel for years now. Works well, but you need to be careful not to sway, that caused me some issues when I didn’t pay attention. Been following Phil and the team at Easy Swing for a while too. Great site for us seniors.
I'm definitely that guy with the lack of mobility. Something I've seen on video and I've been told is that when I do raise my lead heel I tend to shift my foot around and it lands at strange angles. Any tips to maintain my foot staying in the same place?
I really appreciate your efforts! Could you help me with something unrelated: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How should I go about transferring them to Binance?
Very interesting tip. Given the shite weather we’re having I’ve started to go to the local indoor Trackman facility and really started to pay attention to and try and understand the numbers which I feel like I’m starting to get to grips with. What I don’t get is that I swing my 7 iron on average around the 80mph mark, carrying around 160 yards with consistent speed increases as you move up the bag to 5 wood which I swing at around 90mph and carry around the 210 mark. I can’t get my head around why I can’t then swing my driver any quicker than 92 mph with total distance not being much further than my 5 wood. All clubs are fitted with stiff shafts so I’m starting to think despite this my driver shaft is all wrong and should be regular? Time for a fitting I think.
I would check with a swing coach. Without seeing the swing I would guess your trying to swing hard and the upper body is taking over. This is only a guess but that is the most common.
Until recently like you I would swing my 7i at 80 mph and my driver a little quicker than you at 95-97 mph. The gapping between your 7i and 5w looks about right at 10 yards per club. I would look at the launch angle and spin rate with the driver and see if that is costing you distance. If that is not the problem then I would look at strike.
I've been using easiest swing all year used to have a short swing now it's much longer. Still have to open my stance at address due to hip replacement (right hip) left handed golfer this sucks lost a lot of club head speed still a single digit handicap

Don’t forget holding the finish, club over the shoulder until the ball finishes, such good advice.

Thank You, and the best of the Season from Canada to you and yours
Yes, makes sense.
Excellent advice. Thanks
I refer to it as the elastic going, you just don't have the snap that you had when younger, so now you have to learn to swing more efficiently

Great tip for seniors! Andy, are you still gaming Seed golf balls or switched to PXG?
That looks like something I could use.

Got to try this. At 66 yrs old I’ve definitely lost some yardage.
Was tought this many many years ago , just to lift it slightly , now a lot older it’s a bit further up 😂
