Operation Blue Freedom expedition team creates a new world record at Siachen Glacier

13 SEPTEMBER 2021 - The Operation Blue Freedom expedition team has now created a new world record at the Siachen glacier. A team of 8 people with disabilities have taken the new record with the support of the Indian Army. This has been at the world’s highest battlefield. They are the largest number of people with disabilities to scale the world’s highest battlefield. It had been a difficult task as the team is not only overcoming the difficulties of rain but also the icy waters that they had to cross along with crossing rocks.
