Came in with Dimash and very happy to see so many other talented artists on your channel. I remember when there was a Pagan/Wicca movement in the 1980's how they adopted Loreena's music as their own. She had released a very popular album called "The Visit" and every Pagan I knew was listening to is and using the music in their rituals/worship.😂😂😂 Poor Loreena had to publically announce that she was NOT a witch as they were mobbing her whereever she went convinced that she was an old time bard.🙄😂😂 Loreena lived in Stratford, Ontario (same place my Dutch grandparents lived) so I was lucky enough to see her several times singing in pubs along the river before she became famous. The famous harp song is "Stolen Child" and one of my all time favorites.❤ 🥰🥰Much love from a Canadian Dear🇨🇦
All hail Loreena McKennitt. There's just none like her. After a trip to Ireland she did an album called "The Visit" and it's just amazing. All of her stuff is, but that one... She's a staple at our house.
With Christmas approaching, you might want to check out a couple of songs from her Christmas albums; her original setting of The Holly and the Ivy, and God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen. They're extraordinary.
Nice! Straight from my Favorite singer Diana Ankudinova to my favorite Canadian singer Loreena McKennitt. Two beautiful souls. Mummer's dance next from Loreena please and Rechenka from Diana.
Great selection. As others have said, this whole concert is a treat. Loreena's best known song is probably Mummer's Dance which I'd do the 6 min album version. The live from this concert is shortened but still good, so up to you. Might want to look up the tradition of mummering prior. Philadelphia holds a Mummer's Parade every year. In the meantime, Dante's Prayer, lol.
One of her best harp songs is “The Stolen Child”. Here’s the performance at the Alhambra concert: ua-cam.com/video/wMhhMxHeX_c/v-deo.htmlsi=gwoqxlIrod9WfwkN
This whole concert is fantastic. Loreena is wonderful. In my opinion, several other songs in the concert are even better than this one: Dante’s Prayer, Never ending Road, and The Mummer’s Dance.
Helo im ur new viewer here,i love watch ur channel now & i like to be ur subscriber, but first i like to request reaction video to famous male singer, pls check him out he is Marcelito Pomoy,he is amazing & has unique voice,im sure u wil shock & suprise to his out of this world voice❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Loreena is all about celtic spirit. However this version of "All Souls Night" is really weird. It is about Japanese tradition and original (CD version) is much more "cleaner" - sounds really more like Far East. This is much more Middle East and tbh does not sound that good. Perhaps You could try original version to compare. But above all I would recommend "The Bonny Swans" and "The Mummers` Dance". Not to mention Her earlier songs which are heavy on celtic vibe. And yes - Her voice is just angelic. P.S. Reaction to full concert would be great. ;)
Helo beautiful fren,i really love ur channel now i love ur reaction video thats why i subsribe to ur channel now,i like to request reaction video to Marcelito Pomoy to his cover song THE POWER OF LOVE by celine dion, pls.pls check him out,im sure ur gonna love marcelito❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Wow. The AI is strong in those thumbnails. Like there is some 14 yo kawaii manga girl and then there is reality. I don't want to say those thumbnails are clickbait but they are pretty much clickbait at its cheapest^^
Wow. Thanks for the very personal insult on a purely subjective matter. You don't have to like it... it's not your channel and no one is forcing you to be here but since you feel the need to insert your judgment based on your own opinion, I must tell you that you're incorrect. It's just channel art done with a cartoon filter. Not AI. Not meant to be clickbait... nothing more than an artistic choice by me. Like the music, art is subjective but since this is my channel, I'll go with my own preferences. Have a lovely day.

The Middle Eastern influence came from the time when Europeans flooded back into the Fertile Crescent (for various reasons) during the Middle Ages.

You need to listen to Caravanserai (live version) from Nights from the Alhambra, AMAZING
Loreen, The Celtic Queen, I has not listen to her in years, time 'pick up' the cd s..🇸🇪🇮🇪
