Riviera Maya is in the State of Quintana Roo in the southeast of Mexico. Geographically it extends along the coast from the town of Isla Blanca in the north to Punta Allen in the south.
Cancun International Airport is the main gateway to the Riviera Maya. It is the second most important airport in Mexico and the largest for international passengers in all of Latin America. It has 4 terminals and receives more than 11 million passengers a year.
Riviera Maya can also be reached by road from Chetumal in the south of Quintana Roo or from Mérida in Yucatán.

Travelled there in April 2019. Lazy river and pools were fantastic, food was an 8 out of 10, rooms were very clean and comfortable, the entertainment was good and the resort was beautiful. I would recommend it.

Everything was good. Not all the restaurants were open, but we were there in January, it can be different now.
Our experience was horrible at this resort. So many other resorts that cost the same as Grand Sirenis that have way better amenities and food. Here is our recent trip there from June...we paid to leave and switch to another resort! ua-cam.com/video/hWsxZLr3PFA/v-deo.html
Buffet was fine as usual you kind of get tired of it after a few days. Restaurants were great but the Brazilian Rodízio. Skip that one if you can.
Dont believe the negative video heather posted that's something an inexperienced traveler has to say. This resort is wonderful.
I really enjoyed the japanese restaurant. The cook the food in front of you. Great vibes, good pictures, unforgettable memories and delicious food!!
