- Calling for heavy rain through the night. I have to set up camp and wait. There is an escaped convict on the run about 1 hour and a half from where I'm camped. Will they get him?

I was blessed to have the rain. However, it did give me some caution as it went on throughout the night and got heavier I just didn't want to wake up soaking wet but I did wake up quite a few times other than that it was a great sleep
You sir, are the epitome of a happy camper. Probably the happiest individual that I watch on a daily basis who goes on camping adventures.

I enjoy trying all the various ways to brew coffee. I saw the meetup in upstate NY. What about the sweetened condensed milk? I can do without it too. Especially in the morning. I do like sweet coffee in the afternoon though.
Yes there are so many different ways to make coffee and having that with condensed milk it was a good thing it was late in the day kind of like a dessert
Why do you insist on breaking up the noodles. You do it with ramen noodles too. They’re supposed to stay whole
I know right if I eat spaghetti I don't break the noodles up in fact I hate when my spaghetti noodles are broken even in half but with ramen noodles and eating them with that metal spoon they actually stay on the spoon better when they're broken into pieces plus I think they suck up more flavor LOL
I do the same thing. Break them up, add a tablespoon of butter, a squirt of soy and seasoning. And it's almost good enough to eat.

I have heard the stories about that and I'm not sure if I'm up for a camp like that I would certainly have to control my mind that's for sure but yes that would probably make a good Halloween video
Tony, the entire filter contraption is called a “phin”. That top filter is gently placed on top of the bloom that you made with the coffee grounds and a bit of hot water. If you press the top filter you will end up with grounds stuck in the lower drain holes and slow the drip. I know that you’re enjoying the phin, but for real Vietnamese Coffee you need 2 tablespoons of condensed milk in the mug before you start the process… 3 tablespoons if you want something more akin to a hot liquid caramel coffee drink (yum!)

Yes it does give the appearance of a fake leg hopefully with some more time I will get back to normal but for now I don't want to call it by new normal but it keeps getting better and better as the months go by it's been 18 months and there are days it seems to work in days that it doesn't and then colder weather it really struggles. That is too funny about your daughter thank you so much Uncle Tony 2.0 LOL I want to thank you both for being a part of the 2.0 family hopefully we've got lots more Adventures to come

you shouldn't be cooking in ziplock bags, sir.
I've done quite a bit of research and that's why I don't use anything but the freezer bags and I do not put boiling water in the bags. I guess the jury is still out on some things but from what I understand the freezer bags are the better way to go. Now I do have to say I only do that every once in awhile while out camping LOL

Yeah it did and as a night went on in the rain got harder and you are correct I did have a little bit of concern that the tarp may not hold up but it did fantastic good eye on seeing that in my facial expression I noticed it too when I was watching it with you guys on the premiere

Yep Nathan married 36 years and she is a nurse and her schedule doesn't allow her to go camping and she is not a camper per se unless I have a bathroom and shower in my hammock which they haven't come out with those yet LOL I usually do my camping when she is working at night
